Max Brenner Opens Chocolate Shop at Caesars Palace

As if Sin City wasn’t sinful enough, Caesars Palace on the Strip has just invited one of the most sinfully delicious treats to its front door; a chocolate shop! That’s right chocolate lovers, it’s just another decadent reason to head West and spend a few days under the bright lights of the city, exploring the Las Vegas shows, shopping and dining before hitting up Las Vegas’ newest sinful treat.

It’s chocolate galore as Max Brenner has taken over the Forum space previously occupied by Wolfgang Puck’s Chinois and has made the space into a chocolate haven. Max, innovator and creator of the new chocolate culture, has said of his role of worldwide chocolate king, “Chocolate is not just about taste. It’s a symbol of different aspects in our lives of romance, of sensuality, of decadence. These aspects actually create the new chocolate culture of Max Brenner.”

Chocolate By the Bald Man, the name of the store, has spread in the United States with locations in New York, Philadelphia and new location in Boston later this year and now Sin City itself. Celebrities including Tina Fey, john Travolta and Paula Deen have all enjoyed noshing on Max’s incredible chocolate-y creations.

This specialty chocolate shop is a large two story restaurant and chocolate shop with walkup service, a chocolate and gift shop, private dining rooms, a balcony and ample seating on both stories for dining.

Apparently there’s more than just chocolate on the menu, which was a delightful surprise to us! Chocolate By the Bald Man also serves up breakfast, lunch and dinner. Chef Chris Santos, owner of The Stanton Social in New York prepares salads, burgers, steaks, sandwiches, quesadillas, pizzas and finger foods none of which include chocolate in their ingredients.

“But chocolate is everywhere else! It’s just chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate….vats of it swirling and pumping through pipes running everywhere above, below and all around. It’s a full menu of the basics, plus all things that conjure up Willy Wonka,” said Max.

It sure sounds like a unique place to spend an afternoon too! As Las Vegas lures in thousands on weekend adventures, vacations and business travel, Chocolate By the Bald Man is a one of a kind place where you can take a break from the busyness of the Strip. Enjoy a delicious dinner before sampling some of Max’s most decadent chocolate or just take an evening indulging in the rich flavors of hundreds of different sweet chocolates that line the shop’s walls. Thank you, Max Brenner for bringing such a delightful treat to Caesars Palace! We’ll be sure to stop by for dinner and a few tastes before hitting up Las Vegas nightclubs! Now that’s a sinful night!
