Rehab, Wet Republic, TAO Beach…it’s not enough. The Palazzo decided Las Vegas needed a new watery hotspot where the beautiful masses can assemble, and so this weekend, the hotel is unveiling Azure, the newest daylife pool concept on the Strip. Created for the guest “who enjoys the finer things in life,” Azure will replicate the essence of the French Riviera (not at all a ripoff of the theming of Encore’s XS, we’re sure) with contemporary décor, plush daybeds, seasonal flora and lush greenery, and more.
At Azure, guests will take in elegant fashion shows and tasty treats from celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck while being pampered and spoiled by butlers and “butlerettes.”
“AZURE combines the sophistication of the Cote d’Azur, the heat of Las Vegas and the magnificence of The Palazzo into one amazing space,” said Rob Goldstein, president and COO of The Palazzo and The Venetian. “While lounging poolside or in a cabana at AZURE, visitors will be able to experience The Palazzo’s exceptional service and luxurious amenities, such as Canyon Ranch SpaClub, Wolfgang Puck’s cuisine, and hottest fashions from Barneys New York and Diane von Furstenberg.”
While they’re soaking up the sun, guests at Azure will be able to enjoy selections from the Palazzo’s Canyon Ranch SpaClub menu, such as Champagne on the Rocks – a 50-minute cooling and invigorating massage treatment that combines cold stone placement with a cool mint foot mask and a champagne body oil massage. Spa therapists will even apply some much-needed SPF lotion on guests for free.
There’ll also be no shortage of appetizing, upscale munchies at Azure, with a full menu of dishes like Crisp Calamari, Smoked Salmon Pizza with Black Caviar, and Maine Lobster Salmon. Guests can even pair their selections with wines or champagne by the glass.
While poolside massages and fancy cuisine are nothing new to Las Vegas pools, the concept of regular poolside fashion shows is rather intriguing. Azure will feature high-style fashion shows from retailers of The Shoppes at The Palazzo twice a day each Saturday. Azure will also present ABSOLUT Vodka Saturdays, a daytime pool party consisting of stylish entertainment, celebrity guests, acoustic performances, live DJs, and ABSOLUT Vodka signature cocktails.
Guests of the pool will be greeted at the entrance by a VIP host and escorted to a lounge chair, daybed, or cabana. The pool will offer complimentary amenities like fresh fruit, ice towels, Evian water misting, beverages, and samplings of delectable cuisine.
Azure will officially celebrate its grand opening this Saturday with a party hosted by Vegas-loving Mario Lopez. Doors open at 11 am, so be sure to wipe those bleary, partied-out eyes and don your sexiest swimsuit for the poolside soiree.
Azure will be open from 11 am to 6 pm, Friday through Sunday, for guests 21 and over.
