If you’ve ever stayed at the Palazzo you know the hotel is more than just a place to lay your head at night. In fact, it’s become one of the leading resorts in Las Vegas featuring shows, restaurants, spas and luxurious pools. And in a recent Travel & Leisure poll fans of the hotel claimed that the Palazzo is a one of the greatest hotels in Vegas! The Palazzo has recently been named one of the Top 50 Hotels in the U.S. and Canada in Travel & Leisure 2010 World’s Best Awards readers’ poll featured in August’s issue of the magazine. The Las Vegas hotel was ranked number 18 among Large City Hotels in the region and was the highest-ranked property in Las Vegas. The World’s Best Awards hotel rankings are based on readers’ ratings in five categories: room/facilities, location, service, restaurants/food and value. “We are very proud that the Palazzo made Travel & leisure’s World’s Best Awards list…and ranked first among Las Vegas hotels,” said Rob Goldstein, president and COO of The Palazzo and The Venetian. “The fact that this award is generated from the magazine’s readers and our guests shows the public recognizes the quality of The Palazzo, which is a true testament to our dedicated staff.” The Palazzo houses more than 3,000 suites, the Canyon Ranch SpaClub; the award-winning and hit musical Jersey Boys; more than 60 luxury boutiques, including Barneys New York and the Las Vegas firsts for Chloe, Christian Louboutin and Dian von Furstenberg; Azure luxury Pool; Laguna Champagne Bar; and restaurants from star chefs Wolfgang Puck, Mario Batali and Emeril Lagasse. And speaking of Jersey Boys, the popular story of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons that is sweeping Las Vegas and the nation is about to celebrate 1,000 performances in Las Vegas! To commemorate such a feat Jersey Boys has teamed up with “Walk Like A Man” shoe drive and for every new pair of children’s shoes you bring to the Jersey Boys Theater at the Palazzo between noon and 5pm on August 28, you will receive one free tickets to that evening’s 1,000th performance! The donated shoes will benefit the Boys 7 Girls Club of Las Vegas and following the shoe drive the Jersey Boys cast will make a special trip to deliver the shoes to the children personally. “We are thrilled not only to celebrate this exciting milestone performance on the Las Vegas Strip, but to be able to give back to the children of Las Vegas at the same time,” said Jersey Boys producer Michael David. Congratulations to both the Palazzo and Jersey Boys for keeping Las Vegas well rested, pampered and entertained throughout the years. We look forward to many more years of your excellence!
