Usually the holidays bring The Entertainment Capital of the World to a screeching halt in terms of celebrity visits. But this past weekend the Strip was bustling with Hollywood’s most popular stars. Here’s what you may have missed:
After celebrating her brother’s birthday this past weekend, Paris Hilton was spotted having dinner with Brandon Davis at STK Las Vegas Saturday night. Paris enjoyed a Wagyu filet while Brandon dined on pumpkin ravioli. Andre Agassi and wife Steffi Graf also enjoyed dinner with friends Saturday evening at STK Las Vegas. The couple shared a beef carpaccio appetizer and noshed on Wagyu ribcaps with mushrooms.
Paris Hilton also stopped by Amp Salon in the Palms with her girlfriends for Michael Boychuck’s hair magic as did 2011 Miss Nevada USA Sarah Chapman. Peepshow star Holly Madison and bff Laura Croft were joined by KLAS anchor Chris Saldana at Republic Kitchen and Bar’s “All You Can Eat Jazz Brunch” enjoying red velvet pancakes with fried peanut butter and jelly.
And speaking of Holly, the starlet will be getting into the holiday spirit at Hard Rock Café on Thursday, Nov. 24 at 9:15 a.m., 10:15 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. for The Shade Tree, The Salvation Army and the Las Vegas Rescue Mission. Madison will be donating her time starting at 10:15 a.m. and will be busying those in need.
Hotel mogul, Steve Wynn, who founded the Mirage returned home to see the Beatles “Love” by Cirque du Soleil this weekend. Comedy queen Joan Rivers dined with friends at Lavo in the Palazzo enjoying eggplant Parmigano and Kobe meatballs. Chef Wolfgang Puck played host to Kelsey Grammer for three consecutive nights at Spago in the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. Comedian Carrot Top stopped by for lunch, while over at Wolfgang’s Cucina and Pizzeria in Crystal’s at MGM’s CityCenter, actress Ashley Judd and racecar driver husband Dario Franchitti enjoyed dinner.
Our favorite female “Extra” co-host Maria Menounos was back in town this past weekend, but this time fully clothed as she took a tour of David Copperfield’s warehouse, and afterward he talked her into going onstage with him for a levitation as a magician’s assistant for a future episode of “Extra.”
Jordan Sparks performed a holiday-themed concert yesterday for the kick off of Winter in Venice at the Venetian. The Grammy-nominated singer sang her hit songs mixed with holiday music before she cut the ribbon, officially opening the Venetian’s first-ever holiday ice-skating rink! Check out my “What’s Hot” blog for more information on Winter in Venice.
That’s all of the celebrity news I have for today but check back tomorrow to see who will be spending their Thanksgiving on the Strip. I’ll see you tomorrow.
