Paris Hilton Launches Shoe Line in Vegas

As if Paris Hilton hasn’t done enough for our town, she has decided to add clothing designer to her long list of fortes. Her new shoe line launched at the Fashion Show Mall this week was a huge hit and Ms. Hilton was on hand to personally greet the first 300 customers who bought her shoes. Her new collection is designed to be comfortable and high-fashion but still wearable for everyone (not just an heiress). Surprisingly, the shoes aren’t over priced either. Shoes range in price from an average of $59 to $195. Her fall collection includes trendy peep-toe pumps as well as some stylish boots. All of her shoes have been custom designed by her with comfort in mind. Each shoe has comfort padding sewn right into it, which makes these shoes perfect for dancing in the club! All of the soles have been painted hot pink as a signature style of the line. Other styles in the line include flats, stilettos, and ankle-high boots.
Her new collection will be available at Macy’s stores nationwide. Paris was in town this week to promote her new line and stopped by the mall to greet her first customers buying shoes in Las Vegas. Paris has often said that she considers Las Vegas to be her second home and she loves to party it up in Sin City on a regular basis. She even tried to squeeze in a little time for partying on this trip to Las Vegas. After visiting her favorite stylist Michael Boychuck, owner of Color salon, Paris headed out for the evening as she hosted the official launch party for her new line at Pure nightclub in Caesars Palace. Paris has often been spotted by the media at Pure and it is one of her favorite clubs in Las Vegas.
In fact, Paris has sort of become the queen of nightlife here in Las Vegas as of late. So much so that it almost seems like old news to talk about her attending this party or that party. It almost seems ironic that Paris only makes headlines lately when she is NOT partying. Meeting her fans and selling shoes at the mall are humbling efforts for this heiress and people seem to be more excited to see her in the mall than they would if she were drinking next to them at the bar. Spotting Paris Hilton on the Strip with a drink in her hand has become such a common place event that people seem unaffected by it these days. It is not until she steps out of her ordinary party girl image and does something simple like sell shoes that she begins to make headlines again. All of the sudden Las Vegas stands still. Can it be possible? Can it be true? Paris Hilton is actually…well…you could call it…working!
