Planet Hollywood’s Miracle Mile Shops Go Red For AHA
|
The Miracle Mile Shops’ fountains at Planet Hollywood have turned red this month. And while the newest color to take over the famous fountains might make you think the Las Vegas hotel is celebrating Valentine’s Day, the red hue is actually in honor of American Heart Month.
The bold red shade took over the fountains on Feb 1 and will show up between regularly scheduled water shows from now until the end of the month. The fountains are so mesmerizing you may find yourself making a wish and tossing a few coins into it as you gaze at the glowing red water. Or at least that’s what the American Heart Association is hoping for. All money tossed into the water feature as well as the center’s indoor rainstorm will benefit the American Heart Association.
The partnership between Miracle Mile Shops and the American Heart Association is all a part of the center’s Caring, Giving, Changing community campaign. In addition to the February fountain fundraisers, the Caring, Giving, Changing drive also raises funds for other programs and organizations. This isn’t the first time the fountains have gone red for a good cause or the first time Miracle Mile Shops has helped raise funds for the center’s work. Last year, Miracle Mile Shops raised a total of $100,000 for numerous local and national non-profit organizations and aims to surpass that number this year.
Make sure you take advantage of Miracle mile Shops’ red fountains and do your part to help raise funds for heart disease. Regularly scheduled water shows take place at the top of each hour from noon to 11 p.m. daily.
