Romance in Vegas
With Valentine’s Day just 13 days away, it’s time to start planning your romantic evening out. And while you might not think of Las Vegas as a romance kind of town, think again. The Entertainment Capital of the World is filled with romantic shows, tours and attractions to make your Valentine’s Day or any day of the year more passionate. Here are a few of my favorite romantic things to do in Las Vegas:

There’s no better way to spark up a love affair than by watching one of the most romantic productions of all time – Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Las Vegas version of Phantom of the Opera, Phantom – The Las Vegas Spectacular at the Venetian. Shortened from the original version, Phantom – The Las Vegas Spectacular brings together all of the mystery, intrigue and romance from its predecessor in an incredible 95-minute show! From the tragic love story to the custom-built Phantom Theater that remarkably resembles the Paris Opera House, hopeless romantics will fall in love with Phantom – The Las Vegas Spectacular.

Nothing says romance like champagne and a fancy limousine ride, and that’s exactly what you’ll get during the Champagne Night Tour. Get whisked away for an evening of champagne and exploration as you tour some of Las Vegas’ hottest venues. This romantic excursion let’s you see the best of Las Vegas including the dancing fountains and breathtaking Conservatory & Botanical Gardens at the gorgeous Bellagio Hotel. You’ll even sip champagne as you snap photos with your beloved in front of the famous “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign.

You can even experience the romance of Italy in a special gondola ride that takes guests through the Venetian’s Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian. You’ll feel like you’re actually in Italy as an Italian man serenades you as you float along the glistening water. As you glide through the canal, take in the breathtaking views of the Strip and don’t forget to follow the popular Italian tradition where couples kiss under each bridge for good luck. If you’re tying the knot in Vegas you can even ask for the special white and gold gondola reserved for couples that say “I Do.”

And while experiencing the Strip and all of its shows, tours and attractions may be the perfect romantic getaway for some, for others staying in is more ideal! If that’s the case, make sure you check into Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino for an elegant stay. Mandalay Bay guests can share a romantic weekend amongst the beautifully landscaped tropical gardens, soak up the Vegas sun on the award winning 11-acre Mandalay Bay Beach, relax at the 30,000 square foot spa and enjoy more than 12 signature restaurants.

See? Vegas is romantic!
