Las Vegas Sands reached an agreement Thursday that the company will be partnering with Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide to complete a project that will add 398 private luxury residences that will be located in a new tower built between The Venetian and The Palazzo Hotels directly on the Las Vegas Strip. St. Regis Hotels, a division of Starwood Hotels will put their name on this new residency tower and create one of the most luxurious vacation home destinations on the Las Vegas Strip.
It seems the recent trend of condo construction in Las Vegas has been on the rise. With the recent opening of Palms Place, celebrities jumped at the chance to own their own little piece of the Las Vegas Strip. Later this year, the much anticipated City Center will include both hotel and residential properties in an over-the-top luxury complex that will be like nothing Las Vegas has ever seen. With the immediate success of many of these condo properties, it seems that every hotel company on the Strip is trying to get their slice of the pie, and what better way to do it than to have a name like St. Regis to back you up.
Those who decide to invest in a condo at the new St. Regis property will have unlimited access to the world class amenities available at both The Palazzo and The Venetian Hotels. The St. Regis Residences are set to open in March 2010 and will include butler service just like you would receive at any other St. Regis resort. The St. Regis butlers are specifically trained to provide constant service in a manor that is unobtrusive to the resident. When the St. Regis opens its doors in 2010, investors will be able to choose from fully-furnished apartments with furniture from some of the best designers in the world or they will be able to purchase the condos without furniture. Condos will range in size from 1,700 to over 10,000 square feet. The larger condos will even include private pools. The interiors of the apartments will be designed with the latest and most modern fixtures just like you would expect to find in a luxury hotel room on the Strip. The residents living in these new condos will have access to world-class restaurants and shopping like no other place in the world can offer. Residents will have the Las Vegas Strip directly outside their doorsteps turning everyday life into a vacation every day of the week.
Profits from the condos are expected to reach $2 billion and investors have already expressed interest in these new residences. A preview gallery which will show what the insides of the condos will look like will be opening in October.
