Aerosmith front man Steven Tyler attended the late performance of Cirque du Soleil’s Mystere at Treasure Island on Sunday. This wasn’t the first time Tyler had seen the Las Vegas production but he wanted to make sure he saw the classic Cirque show before it went dark for a few months in January (check my “What’s Hot” blog for more info). Tyler and his group sat a few rows back from the stage and snacked on Perrier and popcorn during the production. After curtain call the “American Idol” judge made his way backstage to take a few pictures with the cast, including Ross Gibson, who portrays Red Bird. As he left the theatre he asked the show’s Company Manager to please tell the cast that he loves the show and how moved he was by it. While in town, Tyler enjoyed dinner at Social House in Crystals at MGM’s CityCenter with fellow singer and “American Idol” judge Jennifer Lopez who was with rumored b.f. Casper Smart on Monday night. Tyler and Lopez joined “Idol” host Ryan Seacrest and fellow judge Randy Jackson. “Idol” was in town to tape an episode of the show. In other Las Vegas celebrity news, while in town for the opening of their lifestyle boutique Kardashian Khaos at the Mirage, sisters Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and matriarch Kris discussed life, love and business. What could the famous reality TV family possibly tell fans about their life that they don’t already know from watching their hit show Keeping Up With the Kardashians? Plenty. Amongst the red carpet mayhem, where thousands of fans turned out in support of the Krazy family, the Kardashian ladies managed to sit down and open up about everything, in particular Kim’s split from her husband NBA player Kris Humphries. Everybody was eager to hear Kim speak on the subject as they thrust tape recorders and mikes in her face and she just smiled and said, “I haven’t given up on marriage. I still believe in love and marriage -- always.” Then she added: “I’ll be solo on New Year’s Eve when I’m back in Vegas celebrating at Tao. I’m not looking for a new man yet." “2011 was a year about learning a lot of lessons. The New Year will be about a new me, and I’m excited about that.” On having a Kardashian store at the Mirage Kim said she had fond memories of the Las Vegas hotel: ‘Dad would always pile all of us kids in t he car and bring us to the Mirage to see the Siegfried & Roy white tigers. I never dreamed one day we’d all have our first celebrity boutique here.” Kim will be back in Vegas on Dec. 31 for Tao’s New Year’s Eve party. Stay tuned for more details on the annual bash.
