Let’s see, where did we last leave off? Oh right, everyone was fighting and crying. Wait, isn’t that the same as pretty much every episode? At the end of the last episode, Frankie walked into the girls’ luxurious suite at the Venetian and announced that Brody was in jail for some unknown reason. In this episode, we join the crew in their suite as they are researching ways to get Brody and Doug out of jail (i.e. looking up bail bondsman, etc.) and out of no where, Brody walks through the door laughing and smiling with Doug. As it turns out, Brody and Doug was only in the casino jail and not actual county/state jail and he wasn’t even under arrest. He was actually pressing charges against someone else! It seems the boys had one too many and got in a bar brawl. Since the other guy threw the first punch, they decided to press charges because the guy was just “so obnoxious” that he deserved it. Can you say miscommunication? Hey Brody, next time you call people to tell them that you are in jail, you might want to mention that you are not being detained! Kind of an important detail! Anyways, now that the drama is over the kids are off to find some more reasons to argue about nothing back in L.A.
Before taking off, Audrina awkwardly walks up to Lauren as they are leaving for the airport and says, “We need to talk.” DUH!? The entire trip has been awkward for both girls because of the fact that they haven’t been talking. However, this is obviously a bad time, Audrina. What do you expect Lauren to do? Tell the car to leave and sit down on the sidewalk outside the Venetian and have an all-out catfight? While that would be interesting for on-lookers, it is probably a good idea to wait until you get back to L.A. to have this lengthy conversation. Lauren recognizes that this is a bad time and agrees to talk later. They both throw out an uncomfortable smile and get into the car. The crew flies back to L.A. where Lauren goes to work, for what seems only about five minutes in order to gossip with Whitney. Whitney listens in and learns about all of Lauren’s drama with Audrina as Lauren explains that they didn’t talk the entire Las Vegas trip.
Back to casa de Lauren, which by the way is a sick mansion. The house is worth an estimated $2.5 million, by the way. Audrina goes into Lauren’s room and asks if she can talk. Oh no, here it comes. Lauren and Audrina sit down for a little heart to heart. Lauren says that she has been trying “sooo hard” to be Audrina’s friend and Audrina just doesn’t seem interested in the same things anymore. Lauren explains that she attends Audrina’s “weird shows” and stuff just to make her happy and to do things together. Audrina says that she feels left out because there is so much tension between her and Lo. Lauren explains that she tries to give equal time to both Lo and Audrina. They both start talking about how they used to be so close and are asking each other what happened? A few minutes later, they are both crying. However, they both agree that they want to stay friends. So, why are they crying? Tears of joy? Either way, the show ends in a hugging and crying fest. In the end, the girls talked-out their problems and everything is back to normal. Sorry, no catfight. Keep in mind; this is The Hills not The Real World. Did you expect them to end up in a punching match?
