UFC 143 at Mandalay Bay Event Center

Despite Super Bowl XLVI’s sweep over Sin City and the country this past weekend, it wasn’t the only sporting event to lure in the masses. UFC 143 at Mandalay Bay Event Center welcomed Hollywood and sports stars to town for plenty of fight and post-fight parties.

UFC welterweight fighter Carlos “Natural Born Killer” Condit held his official after-fight party with his wife, Seager McCullah, and friends at Chateau Nightclub & Gardens in the Paris on Saturday. Earlier in the evening, Condit defeated Nick Diaz in a controversial five-round battle for welterweight champion.

Before Condit’s arrival to the Las Vegas nightclub, singer Leona Lewis and Russell Simmons’ daughter Angela Simmons were spotted partying at Chateau as were the Benchwarmer ladies and “Friday Night Lights” actress Aimee Teegarden.

Diaz hosted his own after-fight party at Gallery Nightclub inside Planet Hollywood where he partied with friends into the wee hours of the morning.

Over at Tryst in the Wynn UFC champion Georges St-Pierre also hosted a post-fight party. Retired UFC star Chuck Liddell with eight friends joined St-Pierre and his entourage of 20 for one knockout evening.

UFC heavyweight fighter Fabricio Werdum celebrated his UFC 143 victory against Roy Nelson at Tabu Ultra Lounge in MGM Grand.

As for the celebrities that poured out to watch and party with the UFC fighters there’s almost too many to name…almost. Joe Jonas, Toby Keith, Mandy Moore, Derek Hough, Minka Kelly, Joel Madden, Benji Madden, Vanilla Ice, Wilmer Valderrama, Alex Rodriguez, Pete Rose, Anderson Silva, Urijah Faber, Clay Guida, Mark Munoz, Frank Mir and Stephan Bonnar were all spotted either at a fight or after-party.

And as if that wasn’t enough Randy Couture, Forrest Griffin, Chuck Liddel, Kevin Hoyt, Stephanie Cook, Jacob Duran, Tracy Lee, Martin Kampmann, Jay Heiron, Natasha Wicks, Clay Guida, Ryan Couture, Dave Fara, Greg Jackson, Michael Kreple, Kyle Kingsbury and Karyn Bryant dined at Fogo De Chao on Friday in support of the charity It Ain’t Chemo.

While in town for UFC festivities, pop star Joe Jonas dined with 90210’s Jessica Lowndes and a group of friends at Lavo. After dinner the group made their way to the Las Vegas nightclub where Jonas jumped into the DJ booth for a few songs.

And to be expected, several NFL players were also spotted at Lavo for the big game. Jacksonville Jaguars Mercedes Lewis was with a group of friends and signed several of the jerseys for the staff. Jon Benson and Charles Godfrey of the Carolina Panthers also partied with friends.

Also on Sunday, reality TV star Brody Jenner and Chicago White Sox first baseman Paul Konerko enjoyed night three of Motley Crue’s residency Motley Crue in Sin City at The Joint in the Hard Rock.
