Las Vegas’ pools were the place to be this weekend as celebrities partied and performed in the hot Las Vegas sun. The weekend also brought in concerts and even a famed designer who couldn’t get enough of Las Vegas’ many Cirque du Soleil shows. Here’s who did what this weekend in The Entertainment Capital of the World: Cobra Starship spent Friday partying and performing at Ditch Fridays at Palms Resort & Casino. Gabe Saporta and Victoria Asher represented the band as they performed a few of their hit songs including “Good Girls Go Bad,” “You Make Me Feel’ and #1 Nite.” Saporta seemed to be having a great time as he flirted with the dancers, squirted pool-goers with water guns and sprayed the crowd with champagne throughout their performance. The pair hung out in a VIP area behind the DJ booth after their performance where enjoyed some drinks and lots of dancing. And speaking of pool parties, Model Adrianne Curry showed off her curves as she celebrated her “Dirty 30” at Encore Beach Club over the weekend. A Self-proclaimed “Star Wars” fan, Curry was surprised with a Star-Wars-themed birthday cake. A lifeguard wearing a Darth Vader mask and servers in Imperial storm trooper helmets presented the birthday treat to the 30-year-old beauty. Curry posed for photographs throughout the posh pool party and enjoyed her private infinity pool just outside of her luxury bungalow. Flamingo’s GO Pool was “too cold” on Saturday when rapper and television personality Vanilla Ice hosted the lively pool party. Ice posed for photographs and signed autographs for fans throughout his hosting stay. Planet Hollywood turned pink on Saturday when Nicki Minaj’s “Pink Friday World Tour” took over the hotel’s new 7,000-seat “PH Live” venue. Meanwhile Seal and Macy Gray performed to a packed house at The Pearl at Palms. Both artists performed songs from their latest albums as well as some of their biggest hits. Famed Italian fashion icon Domenico Dolce of Dolce & Gabbana enjoyed the best of Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas over the weekend when he visited five shows in three days including Ka at MGM Grand and “O” at the Bellagio on Thursday, Viva Elvis at Aria and Zumanity, The Sensual Side of Cirque du Soleil at New York-New York on Friday and Mystere at Treasure Island on Saturday. Dolce and his partner were spotted picking up several souvenirs in the show boutiques prior to the performances. That’s all of the celebrity news I have for today. I’ll be back tomorrow with more!
