Aerosmith's Steven Tyler Attends Ka at MGM Grand Las Vegas

Las Vegas Cirque du Soleil shows saw quite a few famous faces this past week and adding to the celebrity sightings on Wednesday was Aerosmith front man Steven Tyler when he attended the late performance of Ka at MGM Grand.

The singer and former “American Idol” judge watched the show with a small group that included his son, Taj Tallarico. This was his second time seeing the show and he graciously shook hands with cast members after the production, commending them on a job well done.

And over at the Mirage, winner of “American Idol’s” 11th season Phillip Phillips attended the 9:30 performance of The Beatles Love by Cirque du Soleil on Thursday. This was Phillips’, who is in town to perform at the annual NASCAR Sprint Cup Awards, first time seeing Love and he brought along his girlfriend for the Beatles fun.

Gearing up for her debut performance as Bo Peep in Peepshow at Planet Hollywood on Dec. 3, the voluptuous reality TV star Coco Austin partied with five friends at Surrender inside Encore at Wynn Las Vegas on Thursday. Stay tuned for more details on her first performance on Monday.

And speaking of sexy Las Vegas shows, the lovely ladies of “X” Burlesque at the Luxor were the latest Strip stars to bring awareness to Hard Rock International’s 2012 global Imagine There’s No Hunger campaign to help stop childhood hunger and poverty around the world. The gorgeous dancers wore the signature limited-edition bracelet, to show their support of Imagine There’s No Hunger. Terry Fator also joined the cause when he wore the bracelet at one of his shows earlier in the week.

Certainly in the giving spirit this year, the ventriloquist will also serve as an honorary chair at the Heaven Can Wait Animal Society’s annual luncheon on Sunday, Dec. 9. Fator will perform select songs from his holiday show, “A Very Terry Christmas.”

If you’re hitting the Strip this weekend make sure you get into the holiday spirit with your favorite holiday songs trumped up with a performance by Mannheim Steamroller at the Palazzo. The acclaimed musical group performs tonight through Dec. 30 at 7:00 pm. and 9:30 p.m. on select nights. And over at the Venetian don’t miss the sarcastic sense of humor of David Spade tonight at 9:00 p.m.

That’s all of the celebrity news I have for today. Check back Monday to see who partied, played and performed in The Entertainment Capital of the World over the weekend. Have a great weekend!
