He didn’t win “America’s Got Talent” this past season, but that doesn’t mean he’s not still a winner. Canterbury performer, Sam Willis, also known as “Tape Face”
has landed a four-month residency at the Flamingo this year.
Willis became an instant star after competing on the season premiere of “America’s Got Talent” in May. A clip of his pantomime performance was posted on YouTube and went viral, attracting more than 45 million views last year.
The pantomime reached the top 10 in the reality TV show, but did not make it to the final five but that didn’t seem to matter for Willis’ career.
Willis just finished touring the Netherlands and Germany and will soon start his Vegas residency followed by a seven-week run on London’s West End, a show at the Edinburgh Fringe and maybe a U.S. Tour.
Tape Face previously did three nights in Vegas when he joined “America’s Got Talent” winner Grace VanderWaal at Planet Hollywood.
Dates for Tape Face’s limited Las Vegas run are Feb. 22-26; March 1-5, 8-12, 22-26, 29-31, April 5-9, 19-23, 26-30 & May 3-7.
Stay tuned for more details on Tape Face’s residency at the Flamingo. In the meantime you can find discounted tickets to the show right here on Best of Vegas.
