Anthony Anderson Hosts Chicken Soup for the Soul Book Signing

Anthony Anderson will host book signing for Chicken Soup for the Soul today.
Former NBA player and head coach of the New York Knicks, Michael Woodson hosted a three-day luxury and lifestyle event, The Coach Woodson Las Vegas Invitational that included a special performance by Brian McKnight. On Monday, the group enjoyed the CIROC Celebrity Welcome Party at the 23rd floor Mandarin Bar at Mandarin Oriental with a live performance by the artist. The evening’s co-hosts were professional golfer Seema Sadekar and ESPN’s Jay Harris. 

In other Las Vegas celebrity news, actor and producer Anthony Anderson and Chicken Soup for the Soul author Amy Newmark will host a cocktail party today, July 23 at the exclusive Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay. The event is to celebrate Newark’s book, “Chicken Soup for the Soul The Dog Did What? 101 Amazing Stories of Magical Moments, Miracles and…Mayhem.” Guests will be treated to Barktinis, food and an exclusive book signing. Royalties from the book will go towards the American Humane Association.

In upcoming Las Vegas celebrity news, this weekend The Entertainment Capital of the World will welcome Lucy Hale of the hit ABC family series “Pretty Little Liars” for a special acoustic performance at Wet ‘n’ Wild Las Vegas on Sunday, July 27. The concert is included in regular admission and is part of the water park’s summer event offerings, which also includes Friday night movies. Hale’s performance is presented by Vegas’s New Country 102.7 and during the event, radio station listeners will have the chance to win Meet & Greet passes to see the star. 

Grammy Award-winning band Kings of Leon announced its 2014 Mechanical Bull Tour will move its Saturday, September 27 performance from MGM Grand Garden Arena to The Lot along the Las Vegas Strip when it headlines the Boulevard Brew Fest. Kings of Leon will be joined by fellow artists Young The Giant, Kongos and others for the event presented by MGM Resorts International and Oregon Brewers Festival. 

And even further down the road, comedians Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy will reunite on stage at Britney Spears theater, The Axis at Planet Hollywood this December 12 & 13. Stay tuned for more details on this hilarious duo and their stop in Las Vegas.
