This summer, Electric Daisy Carnival attendees will have the opportunity to upgrade their ride to the iconic music festival thanks to Maverick Helicopters
. The exclusive company to provide helicopter travel to and from the Las Vegas Motor Speedway will give fans VIP flight transfers to EDC on June 16, 17 and 18, 2017.
“Since partnering with EDC nearly seven years ago, helicopter demand to the festival has grown significantly,” said Bryan Kroten, vice president of marketing at Maverick Helicopters in a statement. “We have gone from using two aircraft the first year to a fleet of more than 22 helicopters each night.”
As if the music from the festival won’t be enough, Maverick Helicopters will let passengers hang out in the company’s massive 6,000-square-foot terminal, which will be transformed into its own festival-like area for guests. The terminal all also be open for 90-hours straight during EDC.
Guests will board Maverick Helicopters’ EC130/H130 ECO-star aircraft, where they will be able to talk to the pilots and listen to electronic dance music through voice-activated headsets. The flight will offer birds-eye-views of the Las Vegas Strip and festival grounds as guests sit cozily in the helicopters’ theater-style, leather seats. Perhaps the most exciting thing about flying Maverick is the fact that you might be joined by an EDC performer or celebrity. DJs Alesso, Armin van Buuren, Calvin Harris, DJ Snake, Hardwell, Kaskade, Martin Garrix, Tiësto, The Chainsmokers, Zedd and many more have all flown Maverick Helicopters to EDC in the past.
Stay tuned for more details about the EDC Maverick Helicopter rides as well as this year’s EDC lineup.
