Baz – Star Crossed Love Celebrates One Year on the Strip

Baz – Star Crossed Love in Las Vegas

Just one year ago, the spectacular production “BAZ – Star Crossed Love” debuted at The Palazzo. This year, the show will celebrate its anniversary through the month of July with the return of star Ruby Lewis. Lewis will take the stage July 25, 2017.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled to return to my ‘BAZ’ family and Las Vegas,” said Lewis in statement. “From the immersive design of the theater to the talent of everyone involved in the show, ‘BAZ’ is a treasure that I’m elated to rejoin.”

The movie-music mashup of some of the world’s most iconic love stories was inspired by filmmaker Baz Luhrmann’s iconic films “Romeo + Juliet,” “Moulin Rouge” and “The Great Gatsby.”

“The arrival of BAZ is the continuation of our commitment to develop new and distinct experiences for our guests,” said George Markantonis, president and COO of The Venetian, The Palazzo and Sands Expo, in a press release. “As the entertainment landscape in Las Vegas continues to evolve, productions like BAZ appeal to audiences who are looking for something unique. This is not a show staged within the confines of traditional theater.”

Guests can sing and dance along to renditions of popular songs such as “Young and Beautiful” by Lana Del Ray, “A little Party Never Killed Nobody” by Fergie and ‘When Doves Cry” by Prince. The production features an ensemble cast and band.

“BAZ - Star Crossed Love” performs Tuesday through Sunday at 7pm in The Palazzo Theatre. You can find discounted tickets to the show here on Best of Vegas.
