There may not be major plans in the works for Vegas in 2017, after all the city did just open a brand new Asian-themed hotel, a massive arena and theater at Monte Carlo, but that doesn’t mean you won’t still be able to enjoy some new shows, themed-rooms and more time to explore the city’s newest venues. Let’s take a look at what’s coming to Vegas in 2017:
Magic Mike Live at the Hard Rock Hotel – In 2017, the Strip will take the focus off of women baring all and switch over to men showing off some skin with the new male-revue Magic Mike Live. The show will come to Hard Rock Hotel Live in a new space converted to look like a real-world version of Magic Mike XXL’s “Club Domina.” The show has been created and is directed by mastermind Channing Tatum, so you know it’s going to be amazing.
The Dorsey – It once housed the greatest rock bands of all-time. Now the rock-show-themed Bourbon Room from Rock of Ages formerly at the Venetian is getting a makeover. Since the show left the Vegas hotel this year, the Venetian has decided to renovate the space with a $2.5-million remodel called The Dorsey.
“Classic Cher” at the Park Theater – 70-year-old pop icon Cher will return Vegas in 2017 with a new residency at the Park MGM. The show “Classic Cher” will include the singer’s biggest hits and her usual outlandish and stunning costume changes. “Classic Cher” runs February 8 through May 25.
Back Street Boys Las Vegas Residency – Back Street’s Back All right! The boy band is getting even larger the life with a new residency at The AXIS at Planet Hollywood. The Backstreet Boys will have their first performance on March 1, 2017. The show will run a total of 18 shows during its trial residency.
