Big Deal: Last Blue Man Group shows at Venetian
The wildly popular theatric show that has been captivating audiences at The Venetian for over ten years is about to get a new home on the Las Vegas Strip. Beginning in October Blue Man Group is moving from the Venetian to the Monte Carlo and with the move will come a new female character, Showbot. But before the Blue Men change venues and add a Blue Woman, Best of Vegas is offering savings up to 40% on Red and Blue Zone tickets through Sept. 30!

When Blue Man Group opened at the Luxor in 2000, it was the first of its kind and has since helped usher in an era of multimedia entertainment on the Strip. Founded by Chris Wink, Matt Goldman and Phil Stanton, the unique stage show features the blue-painted trio performing a slew of entertaining and often times hilarious acts such as throwing marshmallows into one another’s mouths from across the stage and splattering themselves and the audience with vibrant paint.

But it was the creative use of a pipe that really launched Blue Man Group into stardom. The group was first noticed when they started making weird percussive music with PVC pipes. As the show evolved, Blue Man Group turned their PVC pipe talents into an upbeat concert by slamming those PVC pipes with drumsticks as a live rock band plays in the background. And since the introduction of the PVC pipe, Blue Man Group has expanded their use of every day items, turning each one into unique instruments you won’t believe.

And you can expect Blue Man Group to continue wowing audiences with their homemade instruments and multimedia effects in their new production this fall at Monte Carlo. Once Blue Man Group is settled into its new home, guests can expect the same wild and inventive fun as usual but with a few new twists including an assembly-line robot, new instruments, a virtual exploration of the human brain and that new female character Showbot, who is being described as part human, part robot part human.

Stay tuned for more details about Blue Man Group’s move to the Monte Carlo, their new female character Showbot and the rest of the new elements the show will incorporate. In the meantime you can catch Blue Man Group tickets at its current home at the Venetian now through the end of September with savings up to 40% on Red and Blue Zone tickets!
