BMA Stars Party at Lavo in the Palazzo on Sunday Night

Lavo in the Palazzo was THE Las Vegas nightclub to party at on Sunday. After celebrating their wins, performances and appearances, stars from the Billboard Music Awards at MGM Grand Garden Arena took over the nightclub for an unforgettable night of partying.

Among the artists was British boy band, The Wanted who hosted Vice Sundays. Fresh off their performance at the BMA’s, the band dined at Lavo Restaurant where they were joined by manager Scott Braun and singer Carly Rae Jepsen. After dinner the band members surprised club goers with a performance of their hit song “Chasing the Sun” and “Glad You Came” changing the lyrics to “Las Vegas will never be the same. I’m glad we came.”

Carly Rae joined The Wanted after dinner in the Las Vegas nightclub. As she entered the club DJ Vice welcomed her and played her new hit single “Call Me Maybe.”

After winning six Billboard Music Awards, hip-hop sensation LMFAO and the Party Rock Crew joined the party at Lavo where they took over VIP booths on the dance floor. Redfoo took to the stage thanking the crowd and DJ Vice for all of their support over the years. Then the crew’s hit songs including “Party Rock Anthem,” “Champagne Showers,” “Shots” and “I’m Sexy and I Know It” pumped through the club as the crew partied in their VIP booths. And of course Redfoo had to take the stage for one of his energetic performances, which included shuffling for club goers on top of a speaker!

Also making an appearance at Lavo was R&B artist Jeremih. The singer joined The Wanted’s table and also surprised the crowd with a special performance of hits “Birthday Sex” and “Down On Me.”

And speaking of music stars, chart-topping rapper, songwriter, producer and actor Big Boi from the hip-hop group Outkast will hosts an evening at Pure in Caesars Palace tonight. Make sure you check back tomorrow for details on Big Boi’s set.

Planet Hollywood’s newest headliner, Cee Lo Green enjoyed dinner at Martorano’s at the Rio yesterday. You can expect to see a lot more of Cee Lo in Sin City when he stars in his new show “Cee Lo Green Presents Loberace” Wednesday, August 29 in the resort’s 1,400-seat showroom after “Peepshow.”

It was one sweet and silly Monday afternoon for Australian actress, singer and model Sophie Monk as she spent the day at Sugar Factory at the Paris making her fans laugh as she posed for photographs. Monk was in town for a launch party for Prince Reigns along with R&B artist Ray J at The Voo inside VooDoo Beach at the Rio on Sunday night.

That’s all of the celebrity news I have for today. Check back tomorrow for more.
