Britney Spears to End Las Vegas Residency Show in December

Britney Spears: Piece of Me to End in Las Vegas 
If you want a “piece of her,” you better head to Vegas before the end of the year. Pop superstar Britney Spears announced that her wildly successful Las Vegas residency will end in December after four years.
Britney: Piece of Me” kicked off at The AXIS Theater at Planet Hollywood in December 2013. Her final show will be on New Year’s Eve 2017.
"As I prepare to say goodbye to 'Piece of Me,' I had no idea how magical this experience would be," Spears said in a statement. "Having my fans from around the world come see my show has been amazing. I love Las Vegas and will miss performing this show."
Spears has grossed over $100 million in ticket sales as of January 2017. She has been seen by over 700,000 fans.
“When we first announced ‘Britney: Piece of Me’ four years ago, we were certain that Britney’s residency would revolutionize the entertainment landscape in Las Vegas, and are thrilled at how successful the show has been,” said Jason Gastwirth, Caesars Entertainment senior vice president of marketing and entertainment in a statement.
The show features Spears’ biggest hits along with a four-piece band and 16 backup dancers. “Piece of Me” won the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Best Resident Performer award in 2016.
