CeeLo Green Benefits Keep Memory Alive With One Day Show
|
It’s looking like CeeLo Gren will be bringing his musical talents to Las Vegas in October after all. This fall, Planet Hollywood is teaming up with their future resident to deliver an early Christmas present to the Las Vegas-based non-profit organization Keep Memory Alive.
The show “CeeLo and Friends” will take place in the Showroom at the Las Vegas hotel on Wednesday, Oct. 10 with a portion of the ticket sales benefiting Keep Memory Alive, which raises awareness and funds in support of Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health’s works towards treatments and research of neurocognitive disorders.
The concert will feature upcoming songs from the artist’s new Christmas album. Other celebrities who have already signed on for the concert includes Las Vegas headliner Rod Stewart and the Muppets! The show will also serve as a sneak peek to CeeLo’s new residency show “CeeLo Green is Loberace”, which is now set to premiere on Wednesday, Feb. 27 also at Planet Hollywood. Stay tuned for more details on both shows.
And speaking of Rod Stewart, the legendary crooner returned to his new run of residency shows at Caesars Palace last night. You can catch the British singer/songwriter through Oct. 7 with discounted tickets right here on Best of Vegas.
On Oct. 6 magician the Amazing Jonathan will launch the SCREAMont Experiment, a terrifying walk through Halloween attraction at the Las Vegas Club Hotel & Casino in downtown Las Vegas.
Flamingo headliner Donny Osmond will host the Danny Gans Memorial Champions Run for Life on Oct. 20 in Henderson as a fundraiser for Nevada’s Children’s Cancer. The annual race honors the memory of strip headliner and impressionist Danny Gans, who supported critically ill children and their families living in Southern Nevada.
In other celebrity news, singer/songwriter and blonde beauty Emii performed at Krave Nightclub on Saturday. The singer showed off her vocal talents by singing her hit song “Stilettos” among others.
On Tuesday, Luis Miguel who was in town this past weekend for his Mexican Independence Weekend of shows at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace was spotted with ex-girlfriend and reality TV star Brittny Gastineau at Rao’s also in Caesars Palace. The day before, the couple partied at Las Vegas nightclub Hyde Bellagio.
Yesterday, Stratosphere headliner Frankie Moreno celebrated the release of his new CD with an official after-party at his showroom.
That’s all of the celebrity news I have for today. Check back tomorrow for this weekend’s celebrity preview.
