Celebs Come to Las Vegas to See Zarkana, Pacquiao-Marquez Fight

It was a knockout and yee-haw weekend here in The Entertainment Capital of the World as celebs gathered for the Pacquiao-Marquez fight at MGM Grand Garden Arena on Saturday night as well as for the National Rodeo Finals fun at Treasure Island all weekend long. And while both were entertaining enough, stars still managed to enjoy some of Las Vegas best shows and nightclubs through the jabs and wrangling. If you missed it, here’s who punched and lassoed their way through Sin City this weekend:

True Blood star Joe Manganiello attended the 9:30 performance of Las Vegas’ newest Cirque du Soleil show, Zarkana at Aria with his girlfriend, brother and dad on Friday night. The group was in town to watch Saturday night’s much-anticipated Pacquiao-Marquez fight at MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Zarkana lured in the stars on Saturday night as well as Kyle Kaplan, Christopher Mintz-Plase and Nicholas Braun were in the audience for the 7 p.m. performance of Zarkana. The group was in Vegas to celebrate the wrap of their new series “Friend Me.”

And speaking of the fight, hip-hop star Nelly hosted a post-fight party at Tao in the Venetian where he sang a few of his hits for a surprised and packed crowd. On Friday night the Las Vegas nightclub welcomed comedian Russell Peters to listen to the sounds of DJ Politik with friends.

Also on Friday comedian Dave Chappelle was spotted at Marquee in the Cosmopolitan with friends in the Library Room. Meanwhile, reality TV star and new mom Snooki enjoyed dinner at Buca di Beppo. After dinner Nicole was immortalized in marinara sauce.  “American Idol” finalist Haley Reinhart enjoyed the ice rink at BLVD Social Club at the Cosmopolitan on Friday. The singer was in town for her performance at The Chandelier.

Surrender Nightclub welcomed Jonathan Lipnicki, most famous for his role as Renee Zellweger’s six-year-old son from the hit film, “Jerry Maguire.” The actor celebrated his 22nd birthday with friends at the Las Vegas nightclub where he enjoyed a prime dance club table and the sounds of DJ Sidney Samson.

Las Vegas certainly went country this weekend with plenty of National Rodeo Finals festivities. But the cowboy fun wasn’t just confined Treasure Island, in fact over at Crazy Horse III Miss July 2007, Tiffany Selby showed off her cowgirl side as she hosted the “Babes & Buckles” bash on Saturday. After greeting thousands of fans, Selby took over a VIP booth where she rounded up a handful of the club’s hottest cowgirls and posed for photos.

That’s all of the celebrity news I have for today. Check back tomorrow for much more.
