While the Manny Pacquaio and Timothy Bradley WBO welterweight fight at MGM Grand Garden Arena is sure to be a highlight of the weekend here, it’s not the only exciting thing happening in The Entertainment of the World over the next three days. In fact, the Pacquaio and Bradley may have to fight more than each other to win title of most watched performance in Las Vegas this weekend. Caesars Palace headliner Celine Dion will make her return debut after canceling a number of shows in March due to a viral throat infection. And Celine won’t just be returning to the stage this weekend, she will be adding new elements and new songs to her already amazing show. You can catch Celine this Saturday, June 9 and Sunday, June 10 at 7:30 p.m. as well as several other dates throughout June at. at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Also returning to Las Vegas this weekend is actor and comedian Tim Allen. The former “Home Improvement” star will resume his residency at the Venetian this Friday and Saturday at 9:00 p.m. Also bringing the laughs to Las Vegas tonight is Daniel Tosh, who will be performing his hilarious standup at the Mirage. And I can’t not discuss former “Blossom” star Joey Lawrence’s new stripper job as he guest hosts at Las Vegas’ #1 male revue, Chippendales at the Rio all weekend long. For more on Lawrence’s new gig make sure you read my “What’s Hot” blog. The parties begin today with performances by Jason Derulo and Tyga at Ditch Friday and tonight at Rain in the Palms. Lloyd performs at The Bank in the Bellagio and EDC Music Week continues with Sebastian Ingrosso at XS, Calvin Harris at Encore Beach Club and Tryst and Steve Aoki at Surrender. On Saturday it’s the big fight at MGM Grand Garden Arena and Nevada Ballet Theater and Cirque du Soleil present their fifth annual “A Choreographer’s Showcase” at the Viva Elvis Theater in Aria. Celebrities hitting the Strip Saturday night include Taboo of The Black Eyed Peas at Rain in the Palms, Grammy Award winning DJ Afrojack at Tryst, T-Pain at Haze in Aria, Bob Sinclair is at Wet Republic at MGM Grand, Kaskade and Mind Electric perform at Marquee in the Cosmopolitan and rapper Talib Kweli is at LAX in the Luxor. On Sunday, “True Blood” star Joe Manganiello enjoys some of Las Vegas’ famous pool parties when he hosts at Rehab in the Hard Rock with DJ Z-Trip and producer Richard Beynon. That’s all of the celebrity news I have for today but check back Monday when I have the complete rundown of this weekend’s celebrities. Have a great weekend!
