Christina Aguilera Watches “Loberace” at Planet Hollywood

It’s another hodgepodge of Las Vegas celebrity news as I finish up filling you in on who was here this past weekend and get you caught up with this week’s stars. Here’s the last of this week’s celebrity news before I give you the preview for this weekend:

Singer and one-time “The Voice” judge, Christina Aguilera was among the many celebrities who came out to support CeeLo Green on the debut of his wildly entertaining new show, “Loberace” at Planet Hollywood over the weekend. The pair, posed for a photo together during Aguilera’s visit.

Actor, writer, comedian and former cast member from “Chapelle’s Show,” Charlie Murphy was spotted at Blondie’s Sports Bar & grill inside Miracle mile Shops at Planet Hollywood on Tuesday. Murphy was joined by friends at Blondies and later visited DB’s Pong & Pool.

Luke Bryan, Kelly Clarkson, Hunter Hayes, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, George Strait and The Band Perry were the first names announced yesterday that will perform at the 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards on CBS from MGM Grand Garden Arena on April 7. Luke and Blake are co-hosts of the show.

Las Vegas went bald this week when celebrities and volunteers turned out to raise funds in the annual St. Baldrick’s events. “Peepshow” at Planet Hollywood stars Cheaza and Josh Strickland were guest barbers at Ri Ra at Mandalay Place and helped earn $12,500. Over at New York-New York’s Brooklyn Bridge, “Jersey Boys,” “Rock of Ages” and “Absinthe’s” Angel Porrino got in on the shaving fun. And at Vinyl in the Hard Rock Hotel it was a Rock ‘n’ Shave benefit as guest shavers including Jason Cook of Five Finger Death Punch, Frank Dimino of Angel, Jeff Duncan of Armored Saint, Chris Kael from Five Finger Death Punch,” Danny “The Count” Koker of “Counting Cars,” “Pawn Stars,” Robert Mason from Warrant, Paul Shortino of Rough Cutt, Quiet Riot and Jeff Young of Megadeth helped raise $35,000!

Actor Steve Buscemi, who stars with Steve Carell in “The Incredible Burt Wondertone” which was partially filmed in Vegas, was spotted at Gordon Ramsay Steak in the Paris Las Vegas. Meanwhile, Buscemi’s Wonderstone co-star Olivia Wilde dined at Scarpetta in The Cosmopolitan. UFC fighter Frank Mir, boxer Leon Spinks and boxing referee Joe Cortez also enjoyed one of Las Vegas’ many restaurants when they dined at Carla Pellegrino’s Meatball Spot in Town Square.

Make sure you watch comedian Louie Anderson show off his high diving skills tonight on ABC’s “Splash.” If you miss it you can always catch his “Big Baby Boomer” show at Palace Station throughout March and April at 7:30 p.m.
