The Strip might always be glowing with lights but this time of year, there is even more lights to marvel at. Christmas in Vegas means the usual Vegas fun is turned into festive fun, and guests are invited to join in the holly jolly merriment throughout the city. Here are just some of the ways you can enjoy Christmas in Vegas:
Ice Rink at the Cosmopolitan - Who doesn’t love ice skating this time of year? Celebrate the season with the Cosmopolitan’s outdoor skating rink. The winter spectacle is enhanced by snow flurries, Monday date-skate with holiday movie, seasonal cocktails and snacks, and s’mores kits for roasting over an open fire.
Magical Forest at Opportunity Village - Every year, Opportunity Village puts on Magical Forest, a holiday tradition featuring trees decorated with millions of lights and interactive entertainment like an enchanted carousel, avalanche slide, mini-golf, Santa and the Forest Express passenger train. Proceeds benefit local adults with intellectual disabilities.
Ethel M Chocolate Factory and Cactus Garden - Ethel M Chocolates Factory and Cactus Garden transforms into a winter wonderland with 300 species of cacti decorated with half a million lights. Santa visits on weekend evenings. While you’re there, stop in the newly renovated factory store and tasting room for one of Ethel M’s famous chocolates.
Bellagio Fountains - There is something magical about the Bellagio Fountains as they fly up into the sky while synced to popular tunes. During this time of year, the fountains dance to seasonal songs like “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas,” and “O Holy Night.”
Terry Fator’s A Very Terry Christmas at the Mirage - Popular Vegas act and ventriloquist, Terry Fator takes a break from his usual show this time of year to bring guests Terry Fator’s A Very Terry Christmas at the Mirage. The show includes seasonal tunes, and this year there is a duet between puppet Bing Crosby and puppet David Bowie.
