Vegas’ longest running Broadway show, “Defending the Caveman,” is celebrating its 10th year on the Strip. In celebration of the milestone, the play about how men and women relate, recently hosted a special one-night performance with actor Tim Plewman at the D Las Vegas.
The 10-year anniversary celebrations will continue throughout 2017 with international performances of the show. Future dates to be announced include Mexican, German and Cuban versions. The production has already toured the United States and more than 40 countries with production in nearly 30 languages.
“Having Tim present his version of Defending the Caveman followed by mine is the perfect prescription to kicking off the 10-year celebration of this heritage Broadway show, because we all know an evening of laughing is ‘medicine for the soul,’” said Kevin Burke, star of the Las Vegas production in a statement.
Plowman’s updated version of the show includes tweets, selfies and six million Facebook friends. The production is comical and insightful, helping to explain why men and women see the world so differently.
You can catch “Defending the Caveman” nightly at the D Showroom. Show times are at 8:40 p.m. Look for discounted tickets right here on Best of Vegas.
