Drew Lachey Returns as “The Price Is Right Live” Host
For the 3rd year in a row, the popular Las Vegas game show “The Price Is Right Live at Bally’s will welcome back former 98 Degrees member Drew Lachey as celebrity guest host from now through June 17. An obvious fan favorite, Drew will once again be telling audience members to “come on down” for a chance to play and win thousands of dollars in cash and prizes.

If you don’t know Drew, you’re sure to know his brother Nick Lachey, also formerly of 98 Degrees, and maybe even more famously for being Jessica Simpson’s ex-husband. And while Drew may have lived in Nick’s shadow during his 98 Degrees days, he has certainly stepped into the limelight since his singing days. After the boy band broke up, Drew went on to carve a name for himself in the world of television, appearing on the daytime soap opera “As the World Turns,” “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” and yes, from time to time he did show up on his brother’s reality TV show “Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica.” Drew even showed off his theater talents in the Broadway musicals Hairspray, Rent, and Monty Python’s Spamalot.

But it was Drew’s dancing skills that really put him on the celebrity map. In 2006, Lachey cha-cha’d, quickstepped, jived, samba’d and tango’d his way into 1st place, beating out 10 other dance couples in the hit ABC show, “Dancing With the Stars.” The producers of the show loved Drew so much they even asked him back the following season to be co-host. And so his hosting career began. Since then, Drew has gone on to host another of ABC’s dancing shows, “Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann” and HGTV’s “$250,000 Dollar Challenge.” He currently hosts “America Sings” for GMC and for the next two weeks “The Price Is Right Live” of course! Drew follows in the footsteps of Jerry Springer and Joey Fatone as celebrity host for the hit Las Vegas show.

“The Price Is Right Live” at Bally’s is the stage version of the hit daytime television show, which is now hosted by another famous Drew – comedian Drew Carrey and is easily one of the most popular games shows, if not the most popular game show of all time. Just like in the real show, contestants in “The Price Is Right Live” will “come on down” and play fan-favorite games including “Plinko,” “Cliffhangers,” “The Big Wheel,” and “The Showcase.”

You can catch Drew Tuesday – Thursday and Saturday at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Friday at Jubilee! Showroom at Bally’s from now until June 17. Look for discounted “The Price Is Right Live” tickets right here on Best of Vegas.
