Even Kermit the Frog got into the Lone Ranger spirit this week at the announcement of the new “Muppets 2” movie. Kermit hit the Colosseum stage at the Caesars Palace with a black mask, cowboy hat, and on horseback. On Day 1 of CinemaCon 2012 “The Dictator” star Sasha Baron Cohen made a surprise appearance as Admiral Gen. The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino kicked off the start of their pool season with not one, not two but four musical artists this past weekend. I told you yesterday, DJ Pauly D and Pitbull rang in the hotels, Beachlife, with for days of poolside fun. On Monday, the Las Vegas hotel welcomed pop-rock group Cobra Starship for a hot performance at the pool’s Relax Mondays. On Saturday, Kody and Meri Brown from TLC’s hot show Sister Wives enjoyed a tour through Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition at the Luxor. Celebrating their 22nd anniversary, the polygamist couple, who recently moved to Las Vegas spent two hours perusing the exhibits many galleries filled with the famous ship’s artifacts that have been recovered from the bottom of the Atlantic. Like most visitors to the exhibit, Kody and Meri posed had had pictures taken on the Grand Staircase and even signed pictures with staff members at the end of their visit. They said they couldn’t wait to bring back the rest of their family. Maybe we’ll see Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition on an upcoming Sister Wives episode! I’m all out of celebrity news for today but check back tomorrow for more!
