Reality TV stars Kendall and Kylie Jenner, the younger sisters of the Kardashian clan were in town this week to promote their family boutique Kardashian Khaos at the Mirage. The sisters dined at Stack inside the Las Vegas hotel and then topped off their dinner with a Las Vegas show - Cirque du Soleil’s The Beatles ™ Love ™ also at the Mirage. In other celebrity news, Las Vegas comic magician Nathan Burton is definitely not pulling a disappearing act anytime soon. The illusionist recently secured a two-year extension at the Flamingo Showroom beginning Memorial Day Weekend. Burton will be adding 7 p.m. performances Sundays and Mondays to his already 4 p.m. performances. He will also be filling in during the evening when Donny & Marie are out of town, including a two-week job beginning June 21. On the heels of his new extended contract, Burton was spotted taking in some of Las Vegas’ other magic acts with fellow illusionist and Luxor headliner Criss Angel. The two attended Murray Sawchuck’s new show at the Tropicana, and hung out backstage afterward trying to one up each other with various card tricks. Also spotted at the Las Vegas hotel this week was British boy band, The Wanted, who will be performing at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards at MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday. The boys both hosted and performed at Las Vegas’s newest nightclub 1 OAK on Tuesday. And speaking of this Sunday’s BMA’s, Chris Brown has been added to the lineup of performers along with Lisa Marie Presley, Robin Thicke, Brandy, Monica, Miley Cyrus, Nelly Furtado, Linkin Park and previously announced Justin Bieber, CeeLo Green, The Wanted and Usher. Presenters include “Dancing With the Stars” favorite Julianne Hough, Natasha Bedingfield, and the Empress of Soul Gladys Knight. This year’s event, which is sure to be full of amazing performances and new songs, including Katy Perry’s new song “Wide Awake,” will also be a tear-jerker as the artists and performers pay tribute to Whitney Houston. Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina and sister-in-law Pat Houston will accept the Millennium Award posthumously for the singer. John Legend and Jordin Sparks will pay tribute to the late Houston with a special performance. Stay tuned for more details on the 2012 Billboard music Awards at MGM Grand Garden Arena this Sunday. And lastly for today, Mexican singer-songwriter and actress Anahi celebrated her 29th birthday at XS in Steve Wynn’s Encore. The multi-talented Anahi was presented with a birthday cake topped with a microphone and glowing candles.
