Khloe Kardashian-Odom Shows Up at Kardashian Khaos in the Mirage
|
Even on the weekend before Labor Day, Las Vegas welcomed plenty of celebrities. From reality TV stars to comedians and some big-name rockers, the Strip was the place to be this weekend. If you missed any of the star-worthy fun, here’s a quick recap of who did what in The Entertainment Capital of the World over the past three days:
The Mirage was a little “khaotic” over the weekend as reality TV star and Kardashian younger sister, Khloe Kardashian promoted the “Unbreakable” fragrance with husband Lamar Odom, at Kardashian Khaos on Friday.
Unfortunately, the Kardashian sister had to promote the fragrance without her basketball-playing husband as Lamar was a no-show for the event. This was Khloe’s first appearance at the boutique without any of her family members, but she certainly didn’t show up to the event alone. Her BFF Malika Haqq, Cynthia Bussey, Rob Scheppy and Mike Snedegar joined the brunette beauty. Guests to the store were able to meet-and-greet Khloe as she posed with fans and signed autographs.
Meanwhile, former Pussycat Doll Kaya Jones celebrated her 28th birthday with a special performance at Krave Nightclub. Jones performed her hit “Hollywood Doll” and several other songs from her new album.
Also on Friday, Julien-K, the California-based electronic music group performed at Vinyl at Hard Rock Hotel with special guest Battle Tapes.
And speaking of the Hard Rock Hotel, actor and stand-up comedian Michael Yo stopped by the Culinary Dropout at the Las Vegas Hotel on Saturday to celebrate the gastropub’s opening night. Yo was in town to lend his fashion expertise at the Aids for AIDS of Nevada’s 26th Annual Black & White Party.
The Hard Rock Hotel kept the fun going on Sunday as the Las Vegas hotel enjoyed plenty of rockers for the 8th annual Vegas Rocks! Magazine Awards. Sammy Hagar was the man of the night as he picked up the Voice of Rock Award. David Coverdale from Whitesnake also enjoyed a rockin’ night as he received the Lifetime Achievement in Rock and Roll Award. Other winners included Michael Scheneker of Scorpions, who flew in from England to receive his Rock Guitar Legend Award. But the biggest highlight of the night had to be the finale when every star in attendance went onstage, with Sammy Hagar leading the charge and even crowd surfing.
That’s all of the celebrity news I have for today but check back tomorrow for much more.
