“Get Low” rapper and “Celebrity Apprentice” star Lil Jon celebrated his upcoming 42nd birthday early during his 2013 Wynn residency kick off at XS Nightclub earlier this week. The “Get Low” singer invited all of his friends and fans to join him on twitter as he started the birthday festivities onstage before taking over the DJ booth to headline for the night.
During the party, the XS staff marched into the nightclub waving glow sticks and presented Lil Jon with a massive cake shaped like the Wynn with a Lil Jon replica, wearing a crown, shades and holding a pimp cup, that sat on top of the cake.
Meanwhile, fellow rapper Mac Miller celebrated his 21st birthday at Tao in the Venetian with a large group of friends. Mac and crew settled into a VIP table overlooking the club where he was later presented with a birthday cake as his song “LOUD” played through the nightclub. During the evening, Mac made a stop in the DJ booth to say hi to DJ Vice. Mac kept the birthday festivities going all weekend long by stopping at both Moon in the Palms and Ghostbar Dayclub.
NFL player Jonathan Martin was also spotted partying at a VIP table in Tao’s Opium Room.
The 2013 Sundance Festival lured in the celebrities for several nightclub parties over the weekend. Celebutant Paris Hilton, Danny Masterson, Chris Masterson, Jesse Williams, Mekhi Phifer, Lil Jon, “The Bachelorette’s” Jeff Holm, Ben Foster and many more were spotted partying at Marquee in the Cosmopolitan.
Hilton, who we haven’t seen in The Entertainment Capital of the World lately, never left her beau’s side, 21-year-old Spanish model River Vilperi the entire weekend while brothers Danny and Chris partied in the DJ booth with DJ Vice and Lil Jon.
On the second night of the festival Lil Jon, Danny, Adrian Grenier, Mamie Gummer, Nas, Jesse Williams, Kevin Huvane, Gabby Hoffman, Karina Smirnoff, Troian Bellisario, Patrick Adams, Michael B. Jordan, Stephanie Pratt, Ben Lyons, Jason Kennedy, Sai Masekela, Scooter Braun and Geyer Kosinski continued the fun at Marquee.
Blue Man Group welcomed drummer Terry Bozzio to their new show at the Monte Carlo on Saturday. The rocker, best known for his work with Missing Persons and Frank Zappa, posed with the odd characters of the show and a couple of Blue Man Group band members after the production.
And lastly, former Walt Disney World CEO, Michael Eisner gave the keynote at the opening of the International Builders Show at the Convention Center yesterday.
That’s all of the celebrity news I have for today. Check back tomorrow for much more!
