The Entertainment Capital of the World certainly lived up to its name this past weekend as the city welcomed everybody from musicians to bachelors, Mexican Independence Day partiers and a few “hometown hotties” for three days of non-stop entertainment. Here’s who hit the Strip this weekend:
Tao Beach at the Venetian welcomed actor, author and “Extra” host Mario Lopez as he celebrated his bachelor party weekend at the popular pool on Friday. The heartthrob was joined by a group of friends in a cabana as they partied the day away.
Lopez and his friends enjoyed a few of Tao Beach’s signature menu options before toasting to the occasion. A parade of blow-up animals delivered a bottle of champagne to his cabana and the “Saved By the Bell” star popped the bottle and toasted with his friends. He later happily posed for photographs with fans and signed autographs.
After hitting the Las Vegas pool, Lopez decided to keep the party going that night and headed to Las Vegas hotspot Lavo in the Palazzo. The groom-to-be was joined by Maxim’s 2013 Hometown Hotties as their Welcome to Vegas party was hosted by 2011 Hometown Hottie Dominique Storelli.
Also on Friday night, Lavo guests were treated to a special performance by R&B sensation Miguel. The Grammy-nominated singer performed three songs from his second studio album, Kaleidoscope Dream. After his performance, Miguel mingled with fans and enjoyed the packed nightclub with his girlfriend actress Nazanin Mandi.
Over at Pure inside Caesars Palace, former Playboy Mexico cover model Julia Orayen celebrated Mexican Independence Day Weekend. The brunette bombshell arrived at 12:30 a.m. to the Las Vegas nightclub, and immediately got the party started showing off her dance moves and posing for pictures. Orayen was the talk of the night as club-goers couldn’t take their eyes off of her as she danced and partied well into Saturday morning.
It was also a weekend of concerts as the Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel alone welcomed three incredible musicians. On Friday night, alternative rockers Silversun Pickups rocked the Joint with songs form their latest album, Neck of the Woods. Then on Saturday, Grammy Award winner Fiona Apple sang songs from her newest album, The Idler to a packed crowd. American reggae alternative rock musician Matisyahu also rocked the Hard Rock Hotel when he performed an energetic show at Soundwaves.
That’s all of the celebrity news I have for today I’ll be back tomorrow with lots more!
