Modern Family’s Jesse Tyler Ferguson sees The Beatles Love
|
It was a musical few days in Las Vegas as rappers, R&B stars and DJ’s rocked the Strip all weekend long. In between the concerts were celebrity appearances and birthdays to make for a well-rounded celebrity showing here in The Entertainment Capital of the World. In case you missed it here’s who partied and performed on the Strip this weekend:
The music started Friday night when the Liberation Tour featuring Mary J. Blige and D’Angelo stopped by the Pearl in the Palms. Both artists had the crowd on their feet the entire night as they delivered an energetic performance.
Actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson from ABC’s hit TV show Modern Family attended the late performance of The Beatles Love by Cirque du Soleil at the Mirage on Saturday. It was Jesse’s first time seeing the Beatles tribute show and he attended the performance with his boyfriend Justin Mikita along with friends. After the show, Jesse and crew went backstage to meet the Love cast and crew and praise them on their stellar performance.
Marquee Nightclub inside the Cosmopolitan was the hot spot this weekend as Will.I.Am from the Black Eyed Peas treated club goers to a preview of his new album #willpower that features Britney Spears, Rihanna, Justin Bieber and others. The DJ set up shop in the nightclub’s Main Room where he played several songs from his new solo album including the hit “This Is Love.” After his energetic set, the DJ took over a VIP table with friends and listened to DJ Dash Berlin man the wheels of steel.
Also on Saturday, reality TV star Austin “Chumlee” Russell from the hit show “Pawn Stars” celebrated his 30th birthday at LAX Nightclub inside the Luxor Hotel. The star arrived at the Las Vegas nightclub just after midnight and settled into a VIP booth where he was joined by 30 of his closest friends, one friend for every year of his life! During the celebration Russell was presented with a three-tiered black birthday cake decorated in gold and silver topped with a diamond sneaker chain. He spent the rest of his birthday party mingling with guests, taking photos with fans and drinking into the early hours of Sunday morning.
Last night, after his two wins and performances at the MTV Video Music Awards, Calvin Harris spun at XS Nightclub inside Wynn Las Vegas and was presented with a cake in celebration of his wins. Olympian Michael Phelps and Tom Anderson, most famously known as Tom from MySpace were also in the packed crowd as Harris spun an energetic set.
That’s all of the celebrity news I have for today. I’ll see you tomorrow with more!
