New Mom in Vegas: Holly Madison Welcomes Baby Girl

Congratulations to Las Vegas’ sweetheart and former Peepshow at Planet Hollywood starlet, Holly Madison as she and her boyfriend, Pasquale Rotella welcomed their baby girl yesterday at 11:59 am. The new bundle of joy weighed in at 7 pounds, 2 ounces. You’ll have to buy In Touch Magazine to see the pics of mama and baby, as the couple sold the photo rights to the magazine, but I’m sure she’s gorgeous!

In other Las Vegas celebrity news, Grammy-winning country singer and “American Idol” Season 4 starlet, Carrie Underwood brought her third headlining and first global tour, “Blown Away” to a packed crowd at Mandalay Bay Events Center on Saturday.

The concert was the perfect mix of everything Carrie is, a little country, a little pop and rock and a little glamour as she changed from one gorgeous outfit to another. Her set list included “Good Girl,” “Undo It,” “Wasted,” “I Told You So,” “Two Black Cadillacs,” “Last Name,” “Temporary Home,” “Jesus Take the Wheel,” “Cowboy Cassanova,” “Get Out of This Town,” “Nobody Ever Told You,” “All-American Girl,” “One Way Ticket,” “Leave Love Alone,” “Flat on the Foot,” “See You Again,” “Cupid’s Got a Shotgun,” “Before He Cheats,” and an encore that included “I Know You Won’t.”

She even paused half way into the concert to thank the audience as she announced that for each ticket sold on tour, $1 per ticket was being donated to the American Red Cross for disaster relief.

On Friday night, former Outkast member Big Boi lit up the Strip with a performance at The Bank in the Bellagio. Following dinner at Yellowtail in the Las Vegas restaurant, the rapper and his crew headed to the popular nightclub where they enjoyed Dom Perignon and Grey Goose before Big Boi took the stage. He kicked off the show with “Ain’t No Way Around It” before being joined by T-Mo from CeeLo Green’s group Goodie Mob and the duo performed “The Way You Move” and “College Park.”

CeeLo himself turned up in support of Big Boi and even jumped onstage to help sing “Kryptonite” and “Shutterbugg.” The crew partied until the lights came up in the club. Also at The Bank was Sterling “Steelo” Brim and Michael B Jordan from “Chronicles” and “Friday Night Lights.” On Sunday, The Bank welcomed Lil Jon for the nightclub’s well-known industry party.

Mickey Rourke also enjoyed a guys’ night over the weekend as he and pal Dana White partied at Haze in Aria

That’s all of the celebrity news I have for today. I’ll see you right back here tomorrow for lots more.
