It also means the Grammy Award-winning composer and musician Chip Davis will bring his holiday production "Mannheim Steamroller Christmas - Vegas by Chip Davis," to The Palazzo Theater for an exclusive six-week engagement beginning November 20. And it’s the perfect way to get into the spirit of the season.

If you’ve never had the pleasure of seeing one of Mannheim Steamroller’s Christmas specials you know it’s not a typical Christmas show. It’s way more intense! Sure it offers popular Christmas music and plenty of holiday ambiance but not in the way you normally experience it.  Using a keyboard, electric bass, synthesizers and state-of-the- art multimedia effects this holiday production takes all of the songs you hear beginning in November and all through December and turns them into high-energy and powerful numbers you have to hear to believe.

Mannheim Steamroller got their start in 1984 when Davis released his first holiday album, Mannheim Steamroller Christmas. The album took Yuletide favorites and turned them into modern contemporary interpretations that immediately got the attention of music lovers and Christmas enthusiasts. Mannheim Steamroller Christmas was followed by A Fresh Aire Christmas and Christmas in the Aire, which featured creative new approaches to old carols, as well as new carol-like compositions. After the release of their third Christmas album, Mannheim Steamroller had become one of the most requested Christmas music artists of all time. They have also become one of the best-selling acts in the last 30 years.

Mannheim Steamroller continues to tour the country beginning in November every year to spread their version of holiday cheer with rocking versions of such Christmas songs as Joy to the World, Carol of the Bells, Hallelujah, Deck the Halls, The Little Drummer, Do You Hear What I Hear, and much more, many of which have become even more famous after people started synchronizing their flashing Christmas lights to Mannheim’s versions.
