Rio headliners and magicians Penn & Teller kicked off their annual “13 Bloody Days of Christmas” on Monday. It may sound more like a Halloween event than a Christmas one, but don’t let the name scare you away. 13 Bloody Days of Christmas is actually a great cause and a great way to spread the love this holiday season.
This is the 12th year in a row Penn & Teller have teamed up with United Blood Services to raise awareness of the need for blood donations during the holiday season. The blood drive runs now through Dec. 30 and if you’re interested in helping people in need this Christmas you can donate blood at any of the United Blood Services locations and mobile units in Las Vegas. And to make donating even more appealing, Penn & Teller are donating two tickets to their show at the Rio for all who donate.

And speaking of Peepshow, the show’s newest sultry star Coco Austin went shopping at Victoria’s Secret inside Miracle Mile Shops where she took photos with fans while buying hundreds of dollars worth of lingerie.
Former UFC Light Heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell was spotted dining at LBS Burger Joint inside Red Rock Casino on Saturday. Liddell was in town for the Ultimate Fighter 16 Finale.
On Monday night, children at the John C. Kish Boys & Girls Club gathered in anticipation of Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Ne-Yo’s Sixth Annual Compound Foundation Giving Tour at Henderson club. The kids were able to meet and take photos with the award-winning singer and St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson. Both celebrities signed autographs and gave out toys, clothing, electronics and bicycles to underprivileged kids and foster care children.
Yesterday, a lucky bottlenose dolphin at Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden & Dolphin Habitat at The Mirage got to take a swim with Thunder From Down Under at the Excalibur performers Alex Biffan and Ryan Paki. Shortly after arriving, the studly men changed into wetsuits before diving into the water to play with the dolphin. After a tutorial the performers were able to cue the dolphin, Maverick, on several interactions including a pectoral fin wave and dorsal tow. Biffan and Paki then treated Maverick to a mix of fish and squid.
That’s all of the celebrity news I have for you today. I’ll be back tomorrow with much more!
