PSY, iHeart Radio Music Festival Hit Las Vegas This Weekend
Korean pop star and YouTube sensation PSY makes an appearance at Tao in the Venetian to celebrate his hit song “Gangam Style” on Saturday night. PSY will be performing the song with his signature dance moves while VICE provides the beats all night long. Tao is also welcoming hundreds of brides-to-be for the World’s Largest Bachelorette Party all weekend with festivities at Tao BeachLavo in the Palazzo and Tao. You can enjoy both Tao and Lavo with the Tao Las Vegas Pass right here on Best of Vegas.

MGM Grand Garden Arena is welcoming some of the biggest names in the music industry today as the iHeart Radio Music Festival kicks off. You can expect the Strip to be flooded with fans trying to catch a glimpse of the always entertaining and sometimes controversial Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus as well as singers Usher, Taylor Swift, Miranda Lambert, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Rihanna, LL Cool J, Enrique Iglesias, Pitbull, Jason Aldean and more.

Plus, “American Idol” host Ryan Seacrest will be on-hand doing what he does best, hosting the festival’s two-day events along with sharp-tongued comedian Kathy Griffin, who as you can imagine will be taking a few comedic hits at the singers and musicians.

And MGM Grand isn’t the only Las Vegas hotel welcoming musicians this weekend. Carlos Santana will continue his run at House of Blues at Mandalay Bay while crooner Rod Stewart resumes his residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

So get ready for non-stop music and partying for the next 72-hours as we head full-force into the weekend:

The iHeart Radio Music Festival kicks off today and runs through Saturday with performances by Green Day, No Doubt, Lil Wayne, Jason Aldean, Rihanna and more. Guest presenters include Olympic medalist Ryan Lochte, Demi Lovato, Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus, Kathy Griffin and more. And the party scene heats up at 1 OAK in the Mirage for the Official 2012 iHeart Radio Music Festival After-Party.

As far as comedy goes, Kevin James and Ray Romano make their return to the Mirage for two nights while David Spade spreads his dry humor at the Venetian for two nights.

On Saturday, night 2 of iHeart Radio begins with Brad Paisley, Linkin Park, Pink, Mary J. Blige, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Taylor Swift, Enrique Iglesias, Pitbull, Calvin Harris and Deadmau5.

Meanwhile, MGM Grand will welcome Brad Garrett’s celebrity poker tournament to benefit the Maximum Hope Foundation at noon. The charity provides assistance to families caring for a child with life-limiting illness.

On Saturday night, Dragonette is at Hyde Bellagio and Deadmau5 and Warren Peace are at XS at Encore Beach Club.

That’s all of the celebrity news I have for today. Check back Monday for the complete celebrity rundown. Have a great weekend!
