In today’s world you can go from being the most watched YouTube video star to the Ellen DeGeneres show to a skit on Saturday Night Live and to hosting duties at the hottest nightclub In Las Vegas all in a matter of weeks. And that is exactly what international sensation PSY did as he made his Las Vegas debut appearance at Tao in the Venetian on Saturday night. Wearing his signature shades, white shirt and checkered pants the Korean superstar first enjoyed dinner at Tao Asian Bistro where he met Redfoo of LMFAO and invited him to join his entourage for sake bombs and the now very famous “Gangnam dance.” After dinner, sake and dancing, both PSY and Redfoo headed upstairs to the nightclub where the Korean singer took over several VIP booths and Redfoo and his crew were seated next to them. When DJ Vice introduced PSY’s arrival, the packed nightclub went crazy and clamored to grab a photo of the sensation as he stood on top of his booth to greet the crowd. As PSY made his way to the stage, glow sticks and cutout’s of his faced filled the club. The excited crowd danced and held up his face cutouts as PSY sang and performed his signature dance moves to “Gangnam Style.” Like the rest of the country, the crowd couldn’t get enough and chanted for an encore. PSY agreed and launched into his hit song for a second time. When he returned to his VIP booth, confetti canons, one of Tao’s bottle fairies and a panda presented PSY with a cake, congratulating him on the success of his hit song and for breaking the Guinness World Record for most views in the history of YouTube! Later in the night, DJ Vice played a Gangnam Style and Party Rock mashup to which PSY did the Gangnam Style dance one more time and Redfoo attempted to copy his moves as they partied together on stage. Also at Tao were the Jonas Brothers. The siblings also ate at Tao Asian Bistro and then Jonas joined the club’s owner’s table in the nightclub along with Lucas Haas.
