In other celebrity news, hip-hop artists Usher and Ne-Yo partied at 1 OAK in the Mirage on Friday for the VIP After Party after the first night of the iHeart Radio Music Festival at MGM Grand Garden Arena.
On Sunday, rapper Lil’ Jon brought his popular “Turbulence” party to Surrender Nightclub with special guest Steve Aoki and fellow rapper Flavor Flav. As always Flav got the crowd going by jumping into the DJ booth with Aoki and all three stars threw 50 signed Dim Mak (Aoki’s label) t-shirts into the crowd and sprayed them with champagne.
And just when the crowd didn’t think the party could get anymore exciting, Playmate of the Year Sara Underwood appeared as Surrender’s special guest flight attendant for the party. The blonde beauty saluted the crowd in her flight attendant hat and short red dress as the partygoers went wild. Also enjoying Aoki, Flav, Jon and Underwood was DJ Calvin Harris who enjoyed the packed nightclub from a plush VIP dance floor table.
Also on Sunday, Wet Republic at MGM Grand ended pool season with a final pool party blowout featuring special guest DJ Danny Avila. The 17 year-old sensation took over the DJ booth around 3 p.m. and spun a compilation of his hits along with a few crowd favorites until just after 5 p.m. DJ Gusto then took over to close out the summer season.
