Sean “Diddy” Combs and Cassie perform at Tao and Lavo
|
Lavo and Tao heated up the Strip at the Palazzo and Venetian and was easily the Las Vegas nightclubs to be at this weekend as several singers, hip-hop stars and athletes invaded for hosting duties, performances, and parties. Here’s what happened over the weekend:
On Friday, Sean “Diddy” Combs hosted at Tao Nightclub in the Venetian with DJ Five where he received a Tao welcome as the nightclub’s bottle fairy service made a special delivery to his table as a break dancer performed on stage and a “Diddy” sign was held up by go-go girls. The hip-hop star was joined by Buffalo Bills player Shawne Merriman, Ray J, Swizz Beatz and former N’SYNC manager Johnny Wright.
At Lavo, songstress Cassie hosted Lavo’s Stereo Saturday’s and celebrated her new single “King of Hearts.” The sexy singer posed on the red carpet before enjoying a VIP table on the dance floor of the club.
Cassie jumped into the DJ booth when DJ Reflex played her new single, singing along to the track. Afterward she thanked the crowd for coming out and made her way back to her VIP table where she danced and partied the night away. She was also joined by singer Ray J and Shawne Merriman.
Meanwhile, hip hop mogul Diddy got the crowd going by jumping on a speaker box as DJ Reflex played a mix of his hits. Earlier in the day, Diddy was spotted at Marquee Dayclub at the Cosmopolitan, where he and his friends including Merriman took over a cabana at the pool hotspot. NFL pro Mark Sanchez was also spotted at Marquee Nightclub on Saturday.
And while Lavo was certainly the hotspot on Saturday, it was also heating up at Tabu Ultra Lounge in MGM Grand as the ladies of Crazy Horse Paris hosted a Bastille Day celebration.
All dressed in long black dresses, the sexy ladies arrived at the Las Vegas nightclub following their 10 p.m. performance and made their way to a VIP table directly in front of the DJ booth where DJ Kid Jay kept the crowd going all night long. The vixens enjoyed champagne and toasted to the holiday before partying into the wee hours of the morning.
Also on Saturday, World Champion boxer Amir “King” Khan hosted his official post-fight party at LAX Nightclub inside the Luxor. The fighter arrived at the nightclub shortly after his fight against titleholder Danny Garcia, who he lost to. But despite his defeat, Khan seemed in good spirits as he made his way to the VIP booth near the main stage. Throughout the evening, Khan greeted fans and partied with his entourage until early Sunday morning.
