You wait all year for this day. New Year’s Eve on the Strip is the biggest party Las Vegas ever sees. From wild nightclub events to flowing drinks and explosive fireworks, a night on the Strip for New Year’s Eve is a night you won’t forget. This year is more of the same with Vegas clubs showing off just how sexy they can be and casinos playing host to impressive pyrotechnic displays. If you want to make sure you’re in the right place for this year’s fireworks here’s a little more info on the explosion:
The 2017 Las Vegas Strip fireworks will be shot from seven different casino rooftops. As the fireworks explode into the night sky music from various artists will be choreographed to the display. The Vegas casino rooftops include:
- Aria Resort & Casino
- MGM Grand Hotel & Casino
- Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino
- Caesars Palace
- Treasure Island
- The Venetian
- Stratosphere Casino Hotel & Tower
The Ice Rink at The Cosmopolitan will host an official Viewing Party for the display. The night will include an open bar, live DJ and ice skating, all while taking in the gorgeous fireworks.
Other excellent places to watch the NYE fireworks include:
The High Roller Observation Wheel offers 360-degree views as you sit 550-feet above the Strip. There isn’t a view better than that other than being on the rooftop of one of the casinos themselves!
SkyFall Lounge at Delano Las Vegas and Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay both offer a bird’s-eye-view of all of the action. SkyFall is located on the 64th level of the Delano and both have an outdoor patio and floor-to-ceiling windows facing the Strip so you won’t miss a blast.
Speaking of outdoor patios, Diablos at Monte Carlo and Nine Fine Irishmen at New York-New York both have patios that put you in the middle of the pyrotechnics.
The fireworks will last eight minutes and 18 seconds and consist of more than 80,000 fireworks.
