Country singer and future Las Vegas resident, Shania Twain attended Sir Elton John’s “The Million Dollar Piano” at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Friday night. Shania begins her residency at Caesars on Dec. 1. This isn’t the first time Twain and John have been seen near the same stage. They performed a duet of Shania’s hit song -- and the name of her upcoming Las Vegas show -- “Still the One” during her concert in Miami in 1999. Is there a chance they could surprise audiences in at Caesars in the future? Also spotted at Elton John’s show over the weekend was comedian David Spade and friends, as well as Morgan Freeman and his entourage. Actress, model and George Clooney’s gal pal, Stacy Keibler got into the Halloween spirit this past weekend when she donned her sexiest black dress and black lace and rhinestone mask and headed to Hyde Bellagio for hosting duties at Dom Perignon’s Halloween Masquerade on Saturday night. Kiebler arrived on the red carpet at 11:30 p.m. and happily signed autographs for fans after posing for photographs. Once inside the Las Vegas nightclub, Kiebler and friends made their way to a VIP booth beneath the club’s fireplace and DJ booth. During the Halloween bash, Kiebler sipped Dom Perignon and danced to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” and Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell’s “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.” Kiebler and crew danced and partied at Hyde until the early hours of Sunday. Also at Hyde was “The Bachelorette” and “Bachelor Pad” star Kalon McMahon. Meanwhile, Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps was spotted partying at XS in Steve Wynn’s Encore where he showed off his DJ’ing skills and got behind the turntables with resident DJ Steve Aoki. While in town filming “The Hangover, Part III” “The Office” star Ed Helms attended Cirque du Soleil’s “The Beatles’ Love” at the Mirage and posed with the cast backstage after the show. Co-star and heartthrob Bradley Cooper, Zoe Saldana and cast and crew from the comedy partied at Marquee in the Cosmopolitan. NBA legend Michael Jordan and Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant separately were among the first to dine at the new Mexican restaurant Javier’s in Aria over the weekend. Michael has confirmed that he will return to the Las Vegas hotel with his 12th Annual Celebrity Golf Invitational beginning April 4. And speaking of Lakers players, forward Metta World Peace (formally known Ron Artest) was spotted partying at Tao in the Venetian. UFC President Dana White got in some good scares at Fright Dome in Circus Circus, meandering through all five haunted houses and the Adventuredome rides. Actor and comedian Martin Lawrence watched Cirque du Soleil’s “Zumanity” from front-row loveseats at New York-New York and comedians Kevin James and Ray Romano dined at Japonais in the Mirage in separate groups before their stand-up routine. That’s all of the celebrity news I have for today. Check back tomorrow for more! Las Vegas, NV 10/29/12
