Shania Twain Divas Impersonator "Feels Like a Woman"
If you’ve never been to Divas Las Vegas, it’s anything but a drag, except for the female impersonators of course. Accompanied by a group of male dancers in cowboy costumes, these spot-on female impersonators belt out, or at least pretend to belt out hit songs by 17 of the most famous singers of yesterday and today including such divas as Cher, Janet Jackson, Bette Midler, Beyonce, Rihanna, Britney Spears, Madonna, Dolly Parton, Lady Gaga and many more.
Andrew Ryan, who portrays Katy Perry in Divas, will now be adding a Shania Twain tribute to his repertoire. Ryah will be performing a medley of Twain’s biggest hits including “That Don’t Impress Me Much,” and “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” How appropriate!
Marino himself gets in on the drag fun as he serves as emcee for the night offering guests an excellent impersonation of comic icon Joan Rivers. His spot-on impression of Rivers has earned him the title of “Entertainer of the Century” in 2009 and is Guinness Book worthy of having the most performances on any Las Vegas stage. And to add to the grandeur of the production, Marino flaunts his inner diva by changing from one glitzy gown and fluffy boa to the next between every single act.
You can catch Shania and the rest of Divas’ many queens six nights a week at 9:30 p.m. at The Quad with discounted tickets right here on Best of Vegas.
As for the real Shania, she recently wrapped the first round of shows at her Caesars Palace residency. But don’t worry if you missed the country superstar she’ll be back at the Las Vegas hotel on Tuesday, March 19 and for seven more dates in March. In the meantime, get your Shania fix at Divas Las Vegas!
And while you’re at The Quad make sure you rock, dance and laugh along with the stars from NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” Recycled Percussion. This interactive show gives audience members their own drumsticks and instruments, encouraging you to play along with the junk rock group as they beat on paint cans, ladders, buckets, grinders, sinks and other everyday household items!
