Smokey Robinson Among Stars to See Human Nature at the Venetian

Strip stars, Motown legends and celebrity guests came out in full force on Friday night for the premiere of Smokey Robinson Presents Human Nature: The Motown Show at the Venetian.

Celebrities walking the red carpet included: creator of the Las Vegas show Smokey Robinson, Mary Wilson, Carrot Top, Holly Madison, Frankie Moreno, Deniece Williams, Claire Sinclair, Ricardo Laguna, Carla Pellegrino, Frank Marino, Teller from Penn & Teller at the Rio, comedy hypnotist Marc Savard, Vegas celebrity Zowie Bowie, Jeff Leibow and Deven May of Jersey Boys, Melody Sweets of Absinthe, Martin Kaye of Million Dollar Quartet, Staci Wilson and Kaci Wilson of Peepshow, Mark Shunock, Carrie St. Louis and Justin Mortelliti of Rock of Ages, the cast of FANTASY, Thunder from Down Under, The Australian Bee Gees, Murray SawChuck, Maren Wade of iCandy Burlesque, Kevin Burke, Jeff Civillico, the cast of America’s Got Talent Live in Las Vegas and many more.

In other celebrity news, boxing champ Floyd Mayweather kicked off his birthday celebration in The Entertainment Capital of the World with dinner at N9NE Steakhouse in the Palms on Sunday night. Fellow boxers Sugar Shay Smith, Badou Jack “The Ripper,” Adrian Broner and 20 other friends surprised Floyd Mayweather in celebration of his 36th birthday bash. During the festivities, the boxer tweeted a picture of his birthday cake made to resemble a $1,000 with a photo of him in the center.

Later in the evening Mayweather and friends kept the party going at Body English Nightclub & Afterhours at Hard Rock Hotel. While in the Las Vegas nightclub, DJ Shift made several shout outs mentioning the boxer as he celebrated his birthday.

Meanwhile the Palms welcomed boxing legend Mike Tyson as he enjoyed dinner and watched the Oscars at Heraea, the all-new American restaurant and sports lounge. Tyson, who is on break from his “Undisputed Truth” tour was joined by friends.

Superstar singer John Legend helped 1 OAK at the Mirage celebrate their one-year anniversary on Friday with a special performance. Legend, who brought along his fiancé Chrissy Teigan sang “Happy Birthday” to 1 OAK and then performed an impromptu version of “Anniversary” before singing his hits including “Green Light.” Also at 1 OAK for the birthday party was 1 OAK’s El PAcino, Richie Akiva and Scott Sartiano as well as actor Ryan Phillippe, Paris Hilton and Brandon Davis. The anniversary celebration was so fantastic, Ryan returned to the Las Vegas nightclub on Saturday night, first for dinner at STACK and then to party again at 1 OAK. He was joined by actor friend Josh Henderson.
