T-Pain Watches “O” by Cirque du Soleil
|
Rapper T-Pain made a stop at the Bellagio while visiting Sin City to see the spectacular Cirque du Soleil production “O.” The popular musician is in town for the upcoming 2012 Billboard Music Awards at MGM Grand Garden Arena on May 20.
Joined by his wife Amber, T-Pain arrived at the 10 p.m. show and said that he knew “O” to be the “must-see show” to see during his stay in The Entertainment Capital of the World.
The rapper must have liked what he saw because during a backstage tour of the production where he and his entourage had the opportunity to look at props, costumes and the staging deck of the show, T-Pain said that the show was “absolutely amazing” and he couldn’t wait to see it for the second time on his next return to Las Vegas. The cast of “Dancing with the Stars: Live in Las Vegas” at the Tropicana also spent their time here taking in one of Cirque du Soleil’s many productions. Carson Kressle, Dmitry Chaplin and other members of the show spent their night off watching the popular Elvis Presley tribute show Viva Elvis at Aria last night.
In other Las Vegas celebrity news, Mirage headliner Terry Fator, his wife Terry Makakoa and comedian Steve Rossi were at the premiere of “Jimmy Stewart & Friends” starring Rich Little at the Las Vegas Hotel on Tuesday.
Media king Howard Stern arrived in Las Vegas on Monday with model wife Beth Ostrosky for the top-secret filming of “America’s Got Talent.” Fellow judges Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel and host Nick Cannon are also in town for the filming. In addition to filming, Nick has hosting duties at Chateau Nightclub & Gardens in the Paris on Saturday for a Cinco De Mayo bash.
The Hard Rock Hotel was extra hot on Sunday when renowned hip-hop artist Too Short celebrated his birthday at the hotel’s pool party Beachlife. Too Short was joined by an entourage of six lovely ladies as he entertained the crowd on the Rehab stage. And as with most celebrity birthdays in Sin City, Too Short was presented with a special birthday cake in a shape of a whistle, while the crowd sang “Happy Birthday.”
And speaking of hot pool parties, Tao Beach at the Venetian will celebrate the 2012 pool season with a grand opening party on May 5 with DJs GTip and Samantha Ronson with celebrity guests Stacy Keibler, Krysten Ritter, Jessica Szohr and more.
