Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas Celebrates Birthday at Rain
It was a “good, good night” for Black Eyed Peas member Taboo on Friday night as he celebrated his birthday at Rain Nightclub at the Palms where he was presented with a surprise birthday cake from band member Apl.de.ap. The birthday bash also included an explosive performance from Taboo as he performed songs from his upcoming solo album.

Just before Taboo started his set called “The Taboo Experience” Apl.de.ap jumped onto the stage, grabbing the microphone and yelling, “Hold up, hold up! We are about to celebrate one of my best friend’s birthdays tonight and we need a cake.” Girls with sparklers wearing stunna shades and headphones presented Taboo with a three-tiered red and black cake with edible confetti. Apl.de.ap led the packed crowd in singing “Happy Birthday.”

After the surprise cake presentation, Taboo finally began his performance, starting with a mix of Jay-Z and Kanye West’s ‘Ball So Hard.’ The performance was full of energy as Taboo danced, sang and even spun with Apl.de.ap joining him for a few songs. The birthday festivities ended when Taboo pulled his wife onstage while Marvin Gaye’s Let’s Get It On” played in the background.

Also on Friday, former WWE Wrestlers The Bella Twins hosted at Tabu Ultra Lounge inside MGM Grand. Nicole and Brianna arrived on the red carpet before midnight where they posed for photos, signed autographs and talked to fans. Once inside, the sisters were escorted to a VIP table in front of the DJ booth where the danced and partied the night away until early Saturday morning.

NBA pro Metta World Peace also enjoyed his Friday night with dinner at Sugar Factory American Brasserie in the Paris. After dining on some of Sugar Factory’s signature dishes, World Peace headed straight to the adjoining candy store where he sampled gummy bears and Jelly Bellys before settling on a few green apple Couture Pops.

Also enjoying dinner at one of Las Vegas’ many decadent restaurants was actress Sarah Hyland. The “Modern Family” star was spotted trying out Lavo in the Palazzo’s best dishes and desserts. Over at the nightclub NBA star Baron Davis took in the sounds of DJ Vice for Vice Sundays.

Former N’Sync member and current star of Dancing With the Stars: Live Las Vegas at the Tropicana Joey Fatone was spotted catching up with comedy magician Mike Hammer at Sky Dee Mile’s birthday party at the Las Vegas hotel on Sunday night.

That’s all of the celebrity news I have for today. I’ll see you back here tomorrow for more.
