On Friday, former journalist Sarah Tressler performed a special sexy dance as guest entertainer at Crazy Horse III. After showing off her seductive moves, Tressler posed for photographs with fans and signed copies of her book, “Diary of an Angry Stripper.” Tressler worked at the Houston Chronicle in the society columns, but when the newspaper found out about her moonlighting as a stripper; they decided to fire her for not disclosing her side job. But stripping actually helped Tressler hone her skills as a reporter, she states that she learned some interviewing techniques by chatting with customers and getting them to feel comfortable with her. There’s a lesson for us all. Since being fired, she had time to complete her book, and has begun promoting it. Also on Friday, Hard Rock Hotel was the celebrity hotspot as a bevy of stars enjoyed Las Vegas nightlife at Vanity Nightclub. Dancing With the Stars alum Joey Fatone, LA Clippers DeAndre Jordan and Eric Gordon and New York Knicks point guard Marcus Camb were all taking in the sights and sounds of the Las Vegas nightclub. The Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson took a little break from her busy life in the O.C. to enjoy a much needed girls’ weekend in The Entertainment Capital of the World. The reality TV star and five girlfriends (none of whom were from the latest season of The Real Housewives of the O.C.) partied at Moon Nightclub inside the Palms for her friend’s daughter’s birthday. The ladies took over a booth on the dance floor near the DJ booth where they danced and drank into the night. And speaking of the Palms, trumpeter David Perrico was joined by Saturday night special guests during the Pop Evolution show at The Lounge at Palms Casino Resort. America’s Got Talent alum Michael Grimm performed Let’s Stay Together while singer and Stratosphere headliner Frankie Moreno sang Save the Last Dance. Over at Gallery Nightclub in Planet Hollywood, television and film actress Serinda Swan celebrated her 28th birthday with friends and family on Friday night. The party group started their night with dinner at Public House in the Venetian before heading to the Las Vegas nightclub where they enjoyed drinks, dancing and a hot, pink and white birthday cake. Jamie-Lynn Sigler, best known for her role as Meadow Soprano from the hit HBO series celebrated a girlfriend’s bachelorette party at Lavo in the Palazzo on Saturday night. The group enjoyed dinner at Lavo before heading to Marquee Nightclub inside the Cosmopolitan where they listened to the sounds of EDX. On Sunday, singer-songwriter Sean Paul performed his hits to an energetic crowd at Rehab at the Hard Rock Hotel. After his performance he continued the party at Vanity Nightclub, also in the Hard Rock Hotel. Also on Sunday, the Laugh Factory Las Vegas welcomed a few comedians as they celebrated the new club and this week’s headliner Greg Morton. Harry Basil, Frazer Smith and Tom Rhodes from Brad Garrett’s comedy club, Las Vegas local Brian Regan and host of Last Comic Standing and star of The Office Craig Robinson were all in attendance for Morton’s standup. That’s all of the celebrity news I have for today. I’ll be back tomorrow with plenty more!
