Tao Beach Opens With Jessica Szohr, Krysten Ritter & Joe Jonas

Three of the entertainment world’s hottest actors and musicians stepped out of their set costumes and into bathing suits for the grand opening of Tao Nightclub’s pool getaway, Tao Beach this past weekend. Actresses Jessica Szohr from Gossip Girl, Krysten Ritter of the new hit series Don’t Trust the B in Apt. 23, and singer Joe Jonas all celebrated the start of the 2012 pool season at the famous Las Vegas pool.
Szohr and Ritter along with Ritter’s boyfriend actor Brian Geraghty spent Saturday taking in the gorgeous weather and Tao’s pool from a VIP cabana. The trio enjoyed cocktails and signature dishes from Tao Beach’s menu. Joe Jonas soaked up the sun and enjoyed watching the energetic scene from one of the best spots at the party, the grand cabana.
Also celebrating at Tao Beach was Chris Lighty, head of entertainment conglomerate Violator. He was surprised with a cake appropriately decorated like a beach ball for the poolside party. Lighty’s sweet treat came with a special performance by mariachis in recognition of Cinco de Mayo.
And speaking of poolside parties, Grammy Award-winning rapper Common continued his Las Vegas weekend of performances with a special set at Liquid Pool Lounge at Aria on Sunday.
After an incredible live performance at The Bank in the Bellagio on Cinco de Mayo, the hip hop star brought his talents to Liquid Pool for an exclusive 30-minute set that included a mix of his hits, covers and even some improv.
Hard Rock Hotel was one busy hotel this weekend as it welcomed supercross stars and fans for the 2012 Supercross Championship. Carey Hart, Pink, and Pauly D were all a part of the fun as the Las Vegas hotel celebrated the event.
The motorcross fun kicked off on Friday with the Supercross Fans Welcome Party, followed by the Carey Hart & supercross riders signing at Hart & Huntington Tattoo Company.
On Saturday, DJ Paul Oakenfold kept the party going when he spun at the Beachlife pool party, Nectar Music Festival. That same night the Supercross festivities came to a close with the Supercross After Party hosted by Carey Hart and Josh Hansen at Breathe Pool Lounge. The crowd then headed to Vanity Nightclub for DJ Pauly D’s set and to continue partying for the rest of Cinco de Mayo.
Recording artist Roscoe Dash also celebrated Cinco de Mayo in Sin City as he and a large entourage spent the night partying VIP-style at Chateau Nightclub & Gardens inside the Paris.
