The unofficial start of summer officially begins as early as Thursday when Las Vegas begins welcoming in tourists and party-goers for the start of Memorial Day Weekend. The three-day holiday is typically one of the biggest tourism weekends of the year for the city, and with so many people in town celebrating you can bet there will be plenty of fun things to do. Here’s a quick guide to some of the best ways to celebrate Memorial Day in Sin City:
If you plan on celebrating Memorial Day Weekend just like any other holiday - with a party and some drinks then you have to stop by two of Las Vegas’ hottest nightclubs: Tao in the Venetian and Lavo in the Palazzo. The perfect place to get to know Las Vegas’ nightlife, both nightclubs are jam-packed on any given weekend but this Memorial Day Weekend they’ll be out of control.
The party actually starts on Thursday, May 24 at Tao with DJ Chuckie for Worship Thursdays. Over at Lavo, the Memorial Day party starts with recording artist, model, dancer and actress Cassie on Friday, May 25. Jamacian singer Sean Kingston will bring his hits to the Las Vegas nightclub on Saturday, May 26 with DJ Reflex manning the wheels of steel.
